“As of publication, there is no estimate for when the hydrogen supply shortage in Southern California will be resolved, leaving stations like this one offline indefinitely. The shortage will hit the one-year mark in September.”

Hydrogen only comprises 90% of the universe. Of course Democrat controlled California would run out of it.

See the thing about Hydrogen is that there are no Hydrogen Trees to go out and pick bundles of Hydrogen from. It has to be extracted.

Damn stuff refuses to extract itself goddammit! So energy is needed to extract it. You can't use hydrogen to generate the power to extract more hydrogen because it's a negative sum cycle. So ya gots ta use hydrocarbon unless you want to wait days and days to do it by Solar.

Now 100 BTUs of hydrocarbon expenditure gets you about 65 BTUs of hydrogen energy. Hmmmm.....this is a real problem. Instead of just using 65 BTUs of hydrocarbon to get 65 BTUs of energy now you need to use 100 instead which is about 35% more CO2 productive than just using straight hydrocarbon.

But!!!..….once you have that hydrogen....you can drive all the way down virtue signal highway
Till you need a refill!!
