This is why we need a wall on our southern border AND why Mexico should pay for it! They have very strict immigration policies of their own, but are happy to assist those who wish to violate OUR immigration policies.

Because of its shameful disregard of our border integrity, Mexico has made a border wall a necessity which it should pay for. This will be done by renegotiating NAFTA and implementing other policies which will extract the cost of the wall from the billions of dollars flowing to Mexico under our existing arrangements with that country.

NO MAS!

The US commits actions, like the enabling of the 2009 coup in Honduras, that sets in motion the migrant flows currently washing up on its southern border. Hence, the US is responsible for protecting the victims of its deliberate human rights violations.

Mexico flucking the US over again? Gee, what a surprise. Let's be real, we all know who's behind this latest farce. Just follow the money and it will lead to Soros/Democrat-funded groups. The Democratic Party threw American Citizens overboard years ago. I just don't get why so many continue to vote Democrat. They're voting against their own interests.

Yup.
We should protect them, in Honduras.

So why are they coming up now? A much more plausible explanation is that they want to cash in on DACA before that door closes.

They better hope Trump doesn't drop the hammer and walk away from NAFTA, they have now given him a major angle to further justify such a decision, outside of the unacceptable job losses, lack of reciprocity and general trade abuse going on within this "deal".

They are not going to get in. The head of Homeland Security has already
told those legal volunteers working on the Mexican side of the Border to inform
the asylum seekers of the "First Safe Country" rule regarding those seeking asylum.

(Obama must have told US Immigration people to ignore that bit of International Law) The Donald is not going to ignore it.

Asylum seekers must ask for asylum in the first safe country they come to.
That would have been Mexico. We don't have to take them if they haven't asked Mexico for asylum. If they have asked Mexico and Mexico refused
we don't have to take them then, either.

It was a nice bus trip for them and they got used clothes along the way,
what the hell.

Mexico is not a "safe" country for its own citizens, largely because of the US drug and gun markets.

Hondurans have been coming since 2009, and it looks like Nicaragua is about to suffer a similar fate:

The Empire Turns Its Sights on Nicaragua – Again!

"Last year, the US House of Representatives voted unanimously in favor of the Nicaraguan Investment Conditionality Act of 2017 (NICA Act) which would cut that already-poor country off from loans offered by international financial institutions.

"Citing the Alliance for Global Justice, Telesur reported at the time that '[t]he Nicaraguan government uses foreign assistance from the international financial institutions to support social spending on health and education which have become an ever larger proportion of the national budget.’'

"Telesur explained that the NICA Act therefore 'poses a serious danger to the Central American nation’s economy and could result in a humanitarian crisis and waves of economic refugees that would flee toward the U.S. border, joining waves of migrants from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador.'"

Hell the good ole' USA ain't the safe place she used to be either. They will have to enjoy Mexico as their new home away from home or head back south.

If we really want to help Mexico we need to invade and wipe out the cartels and the crooked politicians and let the Mexican people hold legitimate elections.

Here’s a crazy concept. What if we let everybody in that wanted to come in?

There is no good reason to believe that those seeking asylum in the United State do so in bad faith, and are indeed legitimate refugees.

And a ‘wall’ wouldn’t change the fact that those seeking asylum are allowed to apply for refugee status pursuant to Federal immigration law.
