Charges against Jan 6 Viking Man Should be Dismissed

but now that it has come out that the prosecution withheld evidence

The clips still show him, and all other interlopers, in the process of committing the crime of participating in a riot that obstructed an official proceeding. How does that help the defense? Good for him that the recordings don't show him vandalizing stuff, but that doesn't absolve him. He still gets his participation trophy.

Don't bet the farm on it. Trump is going to shred Ron should he jump in. And there is NO indication that DeSantis will play that high in popularity.

Trump's time has passed. I thank him for what he did, but we need younger more controlled people in power.

That he declared this early hurts him rather than helps him.

Did you hear any of his "State of the State" speech he gave?

It sounded like a guy running for president of his high school class--here is the end of it.

"We have the opportunity and indeed the responsibility to swing for the fences so that we can ensure Florida remains number one.

Don't worry about the chattering class.

Ignore all the background noise.

Keep the compass set to true north.

We will stand strong.

We will hold the line.

We won't back down.

And I can promise you this, you ain't seen nothing yet. Thank you all. God bless you."

He knows his audience's attentions span and penchant to avoid multi-syllable words.

He's going to need to get some new speech writers....pronto.

'Time Served'

He's allready spent 2 years in jail for Tresspassing. That's enough.
Your gas lighting is transparent.

He wasn't convicted of only trespassing.

"Civil Disorder; Obsrtuction of an Official Proceeding; Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building; Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building; Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building; Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building"

I saw his literal "softball" interview on Fox. It's been a while since I've laughed that hard. If he thinks he can get away with just friendly interviews and still make to the White House, he's gravely mistaken.
I can't wait to see what Trump does to him. :)

The overreach by leftists to ruin the life of a non-violent political opponent was obviously wrong, but now that it has come out that the prosecution withheld evidence that could have reduced his sentence or eliminated it entirely, the prisoner should be immediately released with all charges dropped due to prosecutorial misconduct.

He also should sue for millions. If a black woman gets $8 million for 30 minutes of detention - without an arrest - then this guy deserves $15 million for having two years of his life stolen from him. Of course, he’s white and a Trump supporter, so he won‘t see a dime.

Need to remove the idea that in this political climate blacks and whites will be treated equally.
That's not where we are.

More of a chance by simply sticking to the facts of this particular injustice.

Shame that blue city DA's wont do the same with felons who break the law, over and over. No cash bail, unless you are escorted by Capitol Police. then you have the book thrown at you.

You understand that you are trying to make sense to a retarded person, yes?

So true. Money was raised by the future VP to bail out violent BLM blacks, or those who destroyed on their behalf, yet the whiteys are punished and left to rot for so much less.

Perpetrators of coups are often ruthless.
The very nature of even a soft coup demands it.

J6 is one of the darkest chapters in the history of our Federal government. A manufactured crisis by the Democrats and gross mistreatment of American citizens for political vengeance. To my knowledge J6 is the first incidence of our government taking political prisoners. The Democrats operate like the CCP, no surprise since China Joe is President.

You do know that most things occur outside of your bubble.

There is literally a whole world out there that you have no knowledge of.
I’m merely asking for the basis of this claim.

Why is it that none of you seem to want to talk about it?

Still a long time for the people being punished by leftists.
He got off easy. Everyone in that building deserved a bullet. We elect people here and we don`t form an ugly mob to try and steal the highest office in the land. The law is "leftist"?:ahole-1:

But the US government is by and for the democrat party, not the people.

Or are you trying to ruin democracy?

Hey...anyone with a D or an R next to their name in November has a shot. When independents and the almost extinct species of republicans who actually have a conscience about treating humans like humans get a whiff of him doubling down on shipping human beings 1,000 miles away for fun...I don't think it's going to play well. For better or for worse, this is the armor he's chosen to dress himself in. The big question is whether or not the media is going to let him skate on this most un-american of his actions thus far. We don't do that.

It does ask an interesting question though...

As you may or may not know, I'm a national park buff. I think I'm up near 150 total installations visited (there are about 445 or so all together). Several observe some of the not-so-great chapters of our collective past. One of which, relative to InSantis and his shipping of humans for shits and giggles is the Trail of Tears National Historic Trail.

Given his silly desire to paper over some of our not-so-great moments in our history; one would wonder if he would de-commission this and other national monuments because of his whack politics.

YEs, anyone that is an establishment Democrat or Republican should deserve a bullet for what they have done and are doing to this country. I agree with you at least once now.

That isn't what he pled guilty to though.
