See my pic above...apparently it will also be blocked by the Freedom Tower:mmmkay...I think you are looking in the wrong place.Ravi see the little red building on the right sticking up behind the other 2 buildings? That is 14 stories. You can see the little rectangle of it from the overhead view in the 2nd picture, the same block where the mosque is proposed.
You will be able to see it at the 13 story height from ground zero.
If its hard to figure out which is which I'll try and use MS paint to put circles on it and upload the pictures tonight.
No look at the blue top of the left building, the destroyed building in the middle, and the black faced building (older pic has red over broken windows, newer is all black). That is the right spot.
One World Trade Center, also known by its nickname and former name Freedom Tower,[5] is the main building of the new World Trade Center under construction, expected to be completed in 2013, in Lower Manhattan in New York City, USA. The tower will be located in the northwest corner of the 16-acre (65,000 m²) World Trade Center site bounded by Vesey, West, Washington and Fulton streets.[6]
Construction on below-ground utility relocations, footings, and foundations for the 1,776 feet (541.32 m)[7][8] building began on April 27, 2006.[9] On December 19, 2006, the first steel columns were installed in the building's foundation. On March 30, 2009, the Port Authority said that the building will be known as 'One World Trade Center,' replacing its former name 'Freedom Tower.'[5] When completed, One World Trade Center will be the tallest building in the United States.[10][11]
