You could be wrong! But before I get into that...Just what kind of response did you expect to get by posting this op? Do you want an atta boy? A pat on the head? or some kind of bizarre proportional reaffirmation that Blacks are more prone to commit murder than Whites are?

Before we get bogged down with that "Blacks are only 14% of the population but commit X% of the murders" crap, we must understand that innocent people, black or white ,have nothing to do with those homicides. Let's leave them out of it and deal with the numbers as they are. Its that old Oranges and apples analogy. Murderers are apples and non murderers are oranges...they have nothing to do with each other. Proportional statistics in this scenario are only used to exacerbate racism and serve no useful purpose.

That being said, here is a point of view that is rarely heard...it is on point to say the least.


3. White people commit more crimes than any other race
White people are the largest demographic in the United States, and as a result, commit more crimes than any other race, largely against other white people. 2010 crime statistics from the FBI confirm that whites lead blacks by 2-1 in arrests, and lead all other ethnicities by 2-1 in incidents of forcible rape (66.3 percent of rapes were committed by whites, while 31 percent were committed by blacks). White people also lead black people by 2-1 in larceny-theft: 64.8 percent of thieves are white, while only 31.9 percent of thieves are black.

While a lot of attention has been given to the gang-related homicides in Chicago’s predominantly-black South side, very little press has been devoted to covering the epidemic of white-on-white gangland murders.
