You are wrong on many counts.

Foreign policies of the US are independent of internal domestic politics that divide Democrats and Republicans. If you had paid attention to geopolitics, you would have noticed that tension between US and China started to rise even during the Bush regime. This confrontation escalated during Obama administration as Obama deployed more and more military assets against Chinese in response to their direct aggression against US interests in the region.

The confrontation with China will continue to escalate as China becomes bigger and bigger threat to the US regardless of who the POTUS is. As a matter of fact, I will be more concerned if a US president starts to get red carpet welcome from Chinese who are clearly a threat to the US.
