While everyone was wondering why Obama picked Leon Penetta to become CIA chief--another left-over in the Clinton administration. All the talking heads were very surprised & wondered why Obama had picked someone that had absolutely no experience in the intelligence arena.

It didn't take long for Panetta to forget that he is head of the CIA & is to remain out of partisan poltics. Well, it looks like he has forgot about that & stated during an interview that it's like "Cheney is wishing for another attack on this country"--to prove his point-that the enhanced interrogation technics worked to save innocent lives.

Just a while back this same Leon Penetta told Nancy Pelosi & the entire congress to shut up & keep the CIA out of their silly partisan politics game & indicated to Nancy it was time to do her world tour--after she accused the CIA of lying to her.

Now we not only have a tax cheat as head of the IRS--but a partisan hack as chief of the CIA.:clap2:

"Oh the things we say--that we wish we could take back:" I would hate to be Leon Panetta having to walk back into the CIA tomorrow morning with so many who admire Dick Cheney. Talk about distroying good working relationships within the CIA. What a total blunder!

So what the left is essentially arguing with this is:

Cheney is so evil he wanted to torture people to stop terrorist attacks from happening and should be thrown in jail, but wants us to be attacked to prove torture worked

Its like Cheney just wants to torture people. and He doesnt care how many people get hurt. just as long as torture is done...

Meanwhile, the crusaders against torture still let Al Gore go on tour...

I really don't get the Al Gore point.

But--let's say there is another attack on this country:

Is the left going to say we were attacked because Dick Cheney "wished it."--LOL

The CIA chief is to remain completely out of politics for a reason. We have thousands of Americans who work for the CIA & many--probably the majority are Republicans. It's a major blunder on his part to attack a former Vice-President who is admired by many of these people that "he has to work with."

At the same time Panetta told Nancy Pelosi to take a hike on her charge that the CIA lied to her--& really admonished congress for trying to turn National Security into partisan politics recently. (He looks like a total idiot not only to his co-workers--but to congress right about now.) It's called "practice what you preach, & it appears that he is incapable of doing that."

Panetta shouldn't have said what many are thinking. However, the CIA did NOT have a good relationship with Dick Cheney.

The CIA did not like the fact that Dick Cheney intervened and told them what to scrub and what to embellish when preparing their NIA to justify invading Iraq. The CIA did not appreciate Dick Cheney setting up his own quasi intelligence office at the Pentagon called "Office of Special Plans." One of the reasons George Tenet was such a flipflopper was because he couldn't decide whether he was the boss at CIA or Cheney.

George H.W. Bush had no "experience" to manage the CIA either, but went on to ultimately become the 41st President.

so when biden said obama would be tested...he too is wishing for another attack? pinheada appears to lack basic intelligence and oreo is right, he appears to merely be a political hack
