Coal jobs decline in Kentucky

The new clean coal plants are now under construction...give it time.

Very little energy comes from coal now. When will the right help coal workers get clean energy jobs? Or tearing any jobs in other industries?

Instead, the "president" of the US is working to go be jobs to foreigners?

Why?

Why do Americans support a president who hires illegals and foreign workers and wants congress to pass a bill to make that a formal position of the US?

Donald Trump promised to revive the coal industry; however, things have gone the opposite way:

Kentucky coal jobs and production continued down in the second quarter of the year, illustrating the unlikely prospect of a quick turnaround for the industry despite President Donald Trump’s campaign promises to put miners back to work.

Coal mines across the state cut employment by a total of 200 jobs from April 1 through June 30 compared to the first quarter of 2017, or 3 percent, according to a report released Wednesday by the state Energy and Environment Cabinet.

miners should move to China.

Actually that is an untrue statement....clean coal is being used all over the world with great results. Because of leftest policies we here in America are behind the curve...don't be lied to. Coal is needed just like crude gas wind and nuke.

Where? Where is clean coal being used, and be specific.

Here they have them listed;
These are just the largest, not all of them worldwide.
Not sure how many are clean. I know that all of Europe's is clean coal like most of ours is.
Shutting down the coal mines for four years will take some time to get back up and running here again, but exporting will start up rather quickly.

35% of the nation's energy comes from coal. That's far from very little.

If you're not watching the MSNBC special with Richard Engels right now on the renewable energy boom in china and India right now that's putting us to shame you should be. Mahindrs is already making all electric Indy race cars just as fast as fuel burning race cars that compete right now. Thanks to the loser Donald trump china will create 13 million jobs in solar we should be creating but when you're dealing with the right you are always dealing with the rear. These are not well people

China is weaning itself off coal because it pollutes and it's filthy.

And the GOP see those as "good reasons" for supporting more coal in this country.

Beijing's last large coal-fired power plant suspends operations_Xinhua Finance Agency

After the suspension of the plant, about 1.76 million tonnes of coal, 91 tonnes of sulfur dioxide and 285 tonnes of nitrogen oxide emissions will be cut annually.

According to a clean air plan by Beijing from 2013 to 2017, Beijing will build four gas thermal power centers and shut down the four large coal-fueled thermal power plants during the period. Another three plants which used to consume over 6.8 million tonnes of coal each year were closed in 2014 and 2015.

Du said Huangneng will prepare to serve as an emergency heat source for the capital's heating system after operations cease. Three of the four gas thermal power have already been built and are in use. Beijing has 27 power plants, all fueled by clean energy with a total installed capacity of 11.3 million kilowatts.

cording to the city's plan, Beijing will build no more large-scale power plants.

China's Coal Problem

In response to the growing public outcry among Chinese citizens over hazardous air pollution levels, Chinese policymakers have made great strides in limiting domestic carbon emissions. Beijing has canceled the construction of 103 coal power plants in this year alone, and its efforts have resulted in decreased coal consumption for three consecutive years. China is also working to increase efficiency standards for both new and existing coal plants to further slash emissions. At this rate, Beijing is expected to hit peak carbon emission levels by 2025—five years earlier than planned—and has been heralded as the new leader for global climate action.

Yet at the same time, Chinese companies are on track to build roughly 140 coal plants in other countries, including
