One in 10 Republicans less likely to vote for Trump after guilty verdict, Reuters/Ipsos poll finds

Half of Americans think Trump's guilty verdict was correct, should end campaign: POLL

I have long wondered what the affect of the verdict would be. These polls indicate it will not be insignificant.

I freely admit I think the polls are encouraging because of the threat Trump poses to the constitutional order. But more broadly, I think it is encouraging to see a felony conviction makes a difference in the minds of voters as to whether any candidate is qualified to be the POTUS.

It's going to be a bloodbath in November, and Trump ain't going to be the winner, so do the math.

The incoherent, disjointed, 30 minute rant the former Golfer-in-Chief gave on Friday provides yet another example of the fact Trump lacks the qualities voters should look for in a presidential candidate. One being not having been convicted of a felony.

Bug ^ is so silly, he actually might buy this crap.

Only one of those guys is a convicted felon and the nation is doing pretty well under the non-convicted one.
I want my President to be able to tell the truth, to be able to find his way of a stage, to accept responsibility and not blame or deflect. I want them to quit stirring up crap, and quit breaking the law.

I am not asking for much but neither can deliver and Republicans and Democrats want to vote them in.

3 Organizers Of Trump Fake Elex Plot—Including Chesebro—Charged In Wisconsin

Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul unveiled charges on Tuesday against three people who helped devise and implement the 2020 fake electors scheme, a complaint first obtained by TPM shows.

Attorney Ken Chesebro, former state judge Jim Troupis, and GOP operative Mike Roman were each charged with one count of entering into a conspiracy to commit forgery.

An attorney for Chesebro declined to comment to TPM. Roman and Troupis did not immediately return requests for comment.

Per a copy of the complaint obtained by TPM, prosecutors cast the three defendants as trying to use the alleged forgery of Wisconsin’s electoral college votes as a means to overthrow the results of the 2020 election. That, the complaint says, was done in concert with senior, unnamed Trump campaign officials.

Prosecutors cited in the complaint text messages and other records that Chesebro provided while cooperating with state prosecutors as part of the case.
