Ok, these performers were in the area and YOU DID NOT GO. now you regret the decision.

For me three come to mind.

Jackson Browne (3 times)

E.L.O

Bachman Turner Overdrive

Meat Loaf on his Hang Cool, Teddy Bear tour. Couldn't get the day off work.

Also, Billy Joel twice: 2000 Years: The Milennium Concert and Last Play At Shea...couldn't get tickets to either one. :(

I regret not going to the casino to see Merle Haggard perform, about 5 years ago. Same for George Jones.

I also regret NOT knowing of the band, Ten Years After, until 4 years ago when watching the program called Woodstock. They were the last performers in the concert and I fell in HEAT with them. OMG, I downloaded all their tunes and burned them to CDs for my car and bought two of their concerts in DVD form. LOVED the late and great Alvin Lee and the way he could nail that guitar and also sing and also look so HAWT! Great guy and great band. Ten Years After.....I do own thee now. :D

I was living near Knoxville and the Eagles were in town. This was '79 or '80. Drove right by the place and thought "naaaaaa.....". Went out and got drunk instead.
Grrrr......

Last year I was leaving a day long conference and I knew Blue Oyster Cult was performing right across the road, but I thought "naaaaa....". Went home and got drunk instead.
Grrrr....

I remember when I was stationed at Memphis back in the mid-80's, and John Kay and Steppenwolf were coming to town (one of my favorite bands). Well, it was my birthday, so I decided to shell out the 30 bucks to go see it, and a couple of days after I got my tickets, they cancelled the show because John Kay ended up with laryngitis or some thing like it.

Man was I pissed..........................................

However...........................the story DOES have a happy ending, because I was able to get my ticket refunded, and around 2 months later, the MWR (Morale, Welfare and Recreation) for NAS Memphis was able to book him to COME TO THE BASE and perform.

Wanna know the best part? The tickets for the show on base were only 5 bucks.

I regretted it at first, but was happy as hell later.

I would have liked to see the Moody Blues at some point...but never have.

Also would have loved to see Pink Floyd too.

I saw JB in the 80s.
Whined about Reagan, couldn't get his anti-American slideshow to work.
Started singing again after the boos began.

Saw BOC 2 years in a row, recently.
They needed more cowbell.

Pretty much same thing when I saw James Taylor. Was so excited to see him but he kept rambling about politics. Was one of the worst concerts I'd seen.

LOL. Well, I'd seen them back in the 70's. They were the warm-up for Wishbone Ash. Renaissance also played that night.
