I was living near Knoxville and the Eagles were in town. This was '79 or '80. Drove right by the place and thought "naaaaaa.....". Went out and got drunk instead.
Grrrr......

Last year I was leaving a day long conference and I knew Blue Oyster Cult was performing right across the road, but I thought "naaaaa....". Went home and got drunk instead.
Grrrr....

Saw BOC 2 years in a row, recently.
They needed more cowbell.

I saw them in 2007...they did a free concert for all Hot Rod Power Tour Long Haulers in Little Rock. That was my first Long Haul. IIRC, it was put on by Cherry Bomb.

It was the early ought-90's and we had tickets to see Stevie Nicks in Chicago.
My friend's timing belt went out on his old Honda mobile.
Wrecker ride to hotel for the night. Train ride back home next day.
