Condiments

I was Navy so the Army never gave out the "salt pills". according to you. How did you keep awake day and night in a Combat Zone?
I take it that reading comprehension isn't your strong point.
I stated that our Army medics handed out buku (a lot) of salt tablets to us.
As to your question:, Didn't need any pep pills, because adrenaline will keep you awake night and day for a long time. ...
Not to mentioned being scared shitless.

Now if only the chip manufacturers could pack a bag of chips full instead of half full....

Overfilling the bag would result in crushed chips (well more crushed chips). In an emptier bag they can move more and not try to occupy the same space and another chip thus leading to stresses and chip dust.
Chip dust...lol

He is right. The extra air in the bag also provides a buffer from the weight of the surrounding bags turning your chips into--well--chip dust.

Actually, it isn't air in the potato chip bags, they're filled with nitrogen.
Using nitrogen in the bags preservers the chips freshness and gives them a longer shelf life. Whereas, if the bags with filled with oxygen, the chips would soon become soggy and spoil. ...

You are correct re: nitrogen, but it isn't because of moisture--air can be dried as well. The nitrogen displaces the oxygen in the air and provides an anaerobic environment which makes it more difficult for bacteria to grow.

Less room plus more points of stress where one chip goes against another and finds no relief from the strain, one is gonna break.
