Well, it seems that there could soon be a breakthrough in testing for COVID 19. Several researchers have been testing a breathalyzer that can detect if a person has the virus or not, even if they are asymptomatic. The test takes about 15 to 30 seconds, and can give immediate results, which would help out a great deal in tracking and stopping the virus.
Trials are currently being done, and it could possibly see approval in the next 4 weeks. And, since the results are almost immediate, as well as much cheaper than the swab test, people could get tested several times a month if they so desired, without putting a strain on the labs that are currently doing the testing.
Could be a game changer if it proves to be accurate. Not only could you test people who want one, but it can also be used to check people going into a venue like a bar, restaurant or stadium.
