It’s probably been answered but both the SS snipers were watching the assassin before the shooting. They let him get 8 rounds off before returning fire.So the secret service snipers are pretty damn good at what they do. My question to those of you who may be familiar with this line of work is this... To take him out so quickly with the snipers have had to know where he was already? Or.... Is it possible they were able to find him because he was shooting and take him out that quickly?
Jo
They didn't get eyes on him until after he crested the roof. Those snipers could not see the back slope of the roof. It’s probably been answered but both the SS snipers were watching the assassin before the shooting.
He was over the crest long enough to aim and fire 8 rounds. They didn't get eyes on him until after he crested the roof. Those snipers could not see the back slope of the roof.
High-Level HoplophobiaFrom my reading , the SS had Crooks in their sights as soon as the local PD altered them
If you watch the video's , the SS only reacted after Crooks opened fire, not before hand
So i'm siding with they could not scramble up the same avenue a 20 yr old could ,and where waiting for the order to take him out
~S~
Right. Which was about 12 seconds. He was over the crest long enough to aim and fire 8 rounds.
He was hired by the tRump campaign to miss him.Right, he was hired by the White House to assassinate Trump and take out any other republicans. Seems like once they saw him with a gun on that building they should have arrested him even for trespassing. Seems to have been a lot of others involved as the killer got off way too many shots.
Just stop.He was hired by the tRump campaign to miss him.
Let’s run with that. We’ll ignore the 10 minutes police say.Right. Which was about 12 seconds.
You forgot we were talking about the time frame where the SS could see him on top of the roof from their vantage point.Let’s run with that. We’ll ignore the 10 minutes police say.

And still the SS around him were not notified.
You people belong in an insane asylum. He was hired by the tRump campaign to miss him.
26 minutes before the shooting witnesses saw the shooter on the roof. You forgot we were talking about the time frame where the SS could see him on top of the roof from their vantage point.
Please try to focus. It gets old cleaning up your constant mistakes.
Nah. The snipers could not see him on the roof for very long at all.The SS snipers watched him on the roof and either warned no one or the tactical command center did as the SS agents near Trump were left in the dark
Long enough for the assassin to aim and get 8 shots off.Nah. The snipers could not see him on the roof for very long at all.
They don't just shoot anything that moves.
To aim poorly.Long enough for the assassin to aim and get 8 shots off.
Yes.... To take him out so quickly with the snipers have had to know where he was already?
No.Or.... Is it possible they were able to find him because he was shooting and take him out that quickly?
So a 20 year old kid can get 8 good shots off before trained snipers? To aim poorly.
Exactly.
Not long.
About 12 seconds.
8 poor shots. So a 20 year old kid can get 8 good shots off before trained snipers?
LEO’s said they called a tactical alert 10 minutes before the shooting started.8 poor shots.
At an obese human sized target from 160 yards
Yes, he can. Ask any LEO. The bad guy almost always gets off the first shot.
A tactical alert!LEO’s said they called a tactical alert 10 minutes before the shooting started.
