I wasn't sure where in about a half dozen topics I should put this, so I'm dumping it here.

There are a number of posters here who are well informed on many topics and I appreciate the "education" I get from you. My curiosity on one subject, abortion, led me to something of a Pandora's Box of information on things about which I knew little to nothing.

I’ve wondered off and on about abortion and speculated that it might not have anything to do with a woman’s right to control her own body so much as it might have to do with population control. I decided to see what information is out there on the subject. As a starter, I came across the website linked below that was very enlightening and, at least to me, very startling. Maybe other members of the board might find some of this interesting and we could have plenty to discuss.

This website has links to information about other associated groups and the roles they play in what is happening today … and it goes way beyond abortion … and way beyond the leftists we have here in America. It’s a lot of reading, but worth the time.

You laugh, and possibly with good reason, for it may be a bit of a stretch to suggest that all of the Governments of the World are involved in such a conspiracy, however there are some disturbing facts to consider.

For instance: China has one of the greatest populations, if not the greatest, in number of citizens, and it is a documented fact that their Law establishes a "one child policy." What happens to the unborn child should a woman becomes pregnant after having the legally allowed one child is not clear.......but I do know that both the woman and the man are in danger of imprisonment for violating China's One Child Law.

I also remember some time back that some Politician from California "floated" the idea of America adopting the One Child Policy as well. Now, it went nowhere, but the fact that it would even be considered is disturbing to a point.

The Eugenics Movement that was once the "rage" among America's Elite certainly advanced the idea of limiting the births of children by poor, uneducated citizens.......and Planned Parenthood was born directly from the Eugenics Movement.....that should be enough to cause SOME CONCERN should it not?

Just saying, while a "World wide" conspiracy may well be a stretch, it does not lessen the concern that there are those in the World who certainly subscribe to an "elite class" of people, and regard any who do not measure up to their standards as "disposable."

Ok first let me respond with an excellent article from the Guardian UK regarding China's cruel "one child" policy. Based on a book by Ma Jian.

This is without a doubt population control on steroids. Just so liberals cannot debate the source the Guardian is a noted left wing newspaper in the United Kingdon.

In 2007, I read of riots breaking out in Bobai County in China's south-western Guangxi province.

Under pressure from higher authorities to meet birth targets, local officials had launched a vicious crackdown on family-planning violators.

Squads had rounded up 17,000 women and subjected them to sterilisations and abortions and had extracted 7.8m yuan (£800,000) in fines for "illegal births", ransacking the homes of families who refused to pay.

Tens of thousands of peasants occupied Bobai County town and set fire to government buildings to protest against the crackdown.

This was the largest outbreak of popular unrest since the 1989 student protests in Tiananmen Square.

I used to find it odd that liberal women who claim they care so much about the female sex can turn stone cold when it comes to the fate of baby girls or turn their backs on the issue of female foeticide.

Until I realized that their religion of abortion disguised as a woman's right to choose takes precedence over any rights of a female "fetus" or "infant".

In 1978 a law was introduced in China which stated couples could only have one child, as a result of the dramatic increase in population.

Couples could apply to have a second child if the first was a girl or had an illness but few were approved.

Parents across China decided they needed to get rid of their female/disabled babies.

A loophole was soon found in the law. It was illegal to kill your child directly (as in to stab or shoot them)but it was not illegal to kill them through neglect.

'Orphanages' were opened to cater to the new demand.

Parents would take their children there, where the staff would leave the children in rooms to die of thirst or starvation. The film was produced over the course of two years.

Kate Blewett, Brian Woods and Peter Woolrich all pretended to work in the orphanages that would be the focus of the film.

They found evidence that very young children were deliberately neglected and allowed to die in agonizing ways.

The three naturally became distressed, but nonetheless completed the film.

Thanks for the posts,TinyDancer. I wasn't sure but I thought orphanages - this is a nightmare.

The feminists definitely are not interested in female anything other than what's important to a certain group of women - those like minded ones. They play on the stupidity or indifference of the rest. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a very active member of the ALCU in her younger days and was instrumental in setting up a department (or whatever) to deal with women's rights, etc.

Last night, I was looking further into the links I put in my OP and I get even more nervous when I see names like Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Tim Geithner, and other high level people as members of one or the other groups working toward the "betterment of the world".
