What the Democrats are "giving" people, is a platform for personal success. The very thing that Republicans have been destroying for the past 40 years. The income, education, and infrastructure Americans need to succeed.

Republicans have treated working Americans as dirt under their feet, to be trod upon to the benefit of the wealthy and the elites. Keeping Americans hungry and needy is destroying the country. You're the only first world country which refuses to tax corporations or the wealthy, to pay their fair share.

If the trillions of dollars you just pissed away for 20 years in Afghanistan had been invested at home in health care, better schools, community centres, and resources for low income Americans at home, your country would not be enduring the worst covid pandemic in the world. Your economy would not be crashed for the 3rd time in the past 40 years, and twice in the past 15 years.

Republican tax and economic policies have utterly destroyed the American economy, and still you continue to believe that Democrats are the problem.

You say they should make themselves "more valuable" with education but price it out of reach of working people, and then saddle you so much debt when you graduate, that it becomes a mortgage on your earnings for 10 or more years. I finished school with no debt, and within 5 years of graduating had purchased two new cars and a fixer upper starter home, which we moved into with our baby and our new puppy. Today's grads are living with their parents, on the parents' health insurance and unable to afford their own apartment due to low wages and student debt.

The tax code has been skewed to punish work, and reward wealth and investment. It's backwards. Workers should be paid first and foremost. The government should not be subsidizing low wages with "earned income credits". That's just subsidizing poverty.

Donald Trump was never worth $4.5 billion in his entire life. Best guestimates by Deutchesbanke is that he was worth $300 million - tops. And most of that is his share of the his father's Family Trust which Trump has wanted to sell off for years, and his family has refused. Without it, Trump would have been bankrupt years ago. He's lost every dollar he's every been given or stolen.

Seems the success Trump had as President really gets under your scales.
