I dont understand why The House of Rep would allow members or committees to hire their own IT staff considering the import of information that could be disclosed you would think a single vendor would be order of the day.

Three members of the intelligence panel and five members of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs were among the dozens of members who employed the suspects on a shared basis. The two committees deal with many of the nation’s most sensitive issues and documents, including those related to the war on terrorism.

The House of Representatives allow it, because they are part of it and or there are other things they do that they do not want exposed, so they go along. Politics, Power, and Money, corrupt all people.

so the top secret classified info from the intelligence committee was NOT on their personal computer system, THANK GOD!!!

The Intelligence Select committee is a Republican lead committee and I see no reason for their spokesperson to lie about that.... do you?
