hey little boy, I bet you eat yellow snow!

obviously their so called Allegiance lies elsewhere. any guess's ???

Here’s shocking video of State Senate Democrats, including Darrel Aubertine, Dave Valesky, Bill Stachowski, Brian Foley and every other Democrat lawmaker, sitting through the Pledge of Allegiance in protest over their loss of power in Albany.

The video shows one Democrat, Brooklyn’s Martin Dilan, trying to join in reciting the Pledge, but he is immediately and forcefully pulled down by two fellow Democrats, Kevin Parker of Brooklyn and Ruth Hassell-Thompson of Westchester.

Not a single Democrat lawmaker stood during the Pledge, including Sens. Darrel Aubertine, Bill Stachowski, Dave Valesky and Brian Foley.

The Democrats’ protest was an outrageous mixing of common civics and politics.

But it shouldn’t be surprising, considering their refusal even to show up for nearly three weeks leading to today, when they locked themselves in the Chamber ahead of Republicans in a stunt reminiscent of the child’s game, “King of the Mountain.”

This is not a surprise to me, and I believe we are now in for some real fighting to take place politically. This is a time when, if a revolution was appropriate, it should happen. It will be a fight, no doubt!

The Democrats and Republicans are all fools now because they all believe they have control, or will take control. Where are "WE THE PEOPLE?" WE NEED TO BE IN CONTROL.

LETS TAKE CHARGE BY MARCHING, WRITING TO THE WORLD, VOTING WHAT IS RIGHT, HOLDING ON TO WHAT IS RIGHT RATHER THAN WHAT IS PC!

Sorry for the caps, I hit is by accident, but to lazy to go back and change it. LOL

Democrats, and the whole Obama crowd are totally deceptive, secretive, controlling, unconcerned for the people, and to be real honest, as pointed out in the video, they are very UNAMERICAN.

Obama once said, regarding his being born in another country, "Oh well, I'm not running for President." At that time he was running for a senate position. He admitted he is not an Americvan. I believe there really is a conspiracy, one that placed Obama in this position by deception. I believe he is a terrorist muslim.

The Pledge of Allegiance was written in 1892 by Francis Bellamy (1855-1931), a Baptist minister, a Christian socialist, and the cousin of socialist utopian novelist Edward Bellamy (1850-1898). Bellamy's original "Pledge of Allegiance" was published in the September 8th issue of the popular children's magazine The Youth's Companion as part of the National Public-School Celebration of Columbus Day, a celebration of the 400th anniversary of Christopher Columbus's discovery of America, conceived by James B. Upham.

Bellamy's original Pledge read:

"I Pledge Allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all."

Pledge_salue.jpg

Salute
Reciting of the pledge is accompanied by a salute. An early version of the salute, adopted in 1892, was known as the Bellamy salute. It ended with the arm outstretched and the palm upwards. Because of the similarity between the Bellamy salute and the Nazi salute, President Franklin D. Roosevelt instituted the hand-over-the-heart gesture as the salute to be rendered by civilians during the Pledge of Allegiance and the national anthem in the United States, instead of the Bellamy salute. This was done when Congress officially adopted the Flag Code on June 22, 1942.

Under God Added
The Knights of Columbus, the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization, in New York City felt that the pledge was incomplete without any reference to a deity. Appealing to the authority of Abraham Lincoln, the Knights felt that the words "under God" which were from Lincolns Gettysburg Address were most appropriate to add to the Pledge.

Saul Alinksy would be oh so proud at how you equated our elected representative standing for the pledge with Nazi Germany.

We're going to treat our elected officials the same way they treat our founding principles, let's see who wins

YouTube - Obama and the National Anthem

Look at who leads their party: Obama would rather handle his balls then pledge

You know he did that for political points with the radical leftwing and that was one thing that really turned me off with him. I actually considered voting for him because I can't stand McCain, but there were too many of these "Fuck You America" displays throughout the campaign that pushed me away.

I can live with his push to socialize health insurance even though I know it to be anti-free market, because I know that Americans will only put up with so much and quite frankly, I see that something has to be done or none of us will have health insurance. I can live with the bailouts, as wrong as they were, but I simply despise his continual attitude of "Fuck You America".

I love my country and believe that our leaders should as well. It is just too bad that so many of our leaders, both Democrat and Republican, have the "Fuck You America" attitude. I think we should send them all home and replace them with Americans be they liberal or conservative, that really care about this nation.

It seems kind of far reaching for him to be insinuating that because Adolph Hitler adopted a salute similar to the Bellamy Salute that this somehow makes Bellamy a NAZI sympathizer. And that Conservatives, because they recite the Pledge authored by Bellamy, must somehow also be NAZI sympathizers.

A very large leap for him to make indeed.

So you are trying to justify the atrocious behavior of the NY congress' democrats with an informative post about the history and evolution of the pledge?

Not standing up to honor the flag of the country is a disgraceful maneuver, made even more disgraceful by the partisan motivation behind the lack of standing.

I guess this is what I should I expect from a party loyalist. Your attempt to defend the indefensible is dissapointing.
