Dems want a Civil War

Not if they all elected Kasich instead.
Why the hell would anyone be happy with that? Kasich was sent down the road for a reason and it sure as hell wasn't because we actually liked him and want him for president. The fact you think you would be happy with him doesn't mean shit to the rest of us that voted him out. Fuck Kasich.

There is already a strong base of people regretting their votes for Trump... Kasich would appease them.

I think you're overestimating the number of people regretting their votes for Trump. If you listen to the echo chamber that is MSNBC or something like that, i can see how you'd get that impression.

They're the same people that said he'd never become the nominee, he'd never be President and didn't have a chance. He'd lose in an electoral landslide, they said.

It's all bullshit. They voted for him. They knew what they were doing and didn't like the alternative.

Well the groups that is giving free legal advice for Electors said they have a list of about 30 of them thinking of NOT voting for Trump.

Yeah, i've seen a letter where a bunch of those same people wanted to have 'intelligence' on the purported russian hacks before voting. MSM headlines read: "BIPARTIAN LETTER FROM ELECTORS"

Bullshit. of the 20 people on that letter, only 1 of them was a Republican. You know, that one dumbass elector from Texas that went for his 15 minutes of fame like a week ago.

How many of those 30 electors are REPUBLICAN electors? Names please.

Right now they are keeping their names anonymous until they know they have enough votes to matter, otherwise they won't turn their votes. They aren't going to go on a suicide mission unless they know it is going to matter.

You mean, sort of like how the dems did when they lost?

The best you could hope for is throwing the election to the house(which will never happen). If you did that, no Republican in the house would be dumb enough to throw their reelection chances down the toilet. The Majority of Republicans nominated trump. To throw the election from trump would be political suicide for any Republican.

Not if they all elected Kasich instead.

Kasich said he doesn't want the job. Plus you'd have to convince 270 Republicans to switch to Kasich or whomever. If the Republican doesn't get 270 votes, it would be thrown to the house.

That's just it. If one EV is changed to Kasich and neither candidate hits 270... and it goes to the House, then the house could vote in Kasich instead of Trump.

Yes, but if the House chooses someone else than Trump, there's going to be problems for those Republicans.

Every Republican that votes for Kasich would probably lose their seats.

Trump is incredibly popular with the Republican base. Whose going to vote in those midterm elections? Pissed off Trump supporters that had their election stolen from them.

Choosing anyone other than trump would be political suicide for an elected Republican. They're not that stupid.

Only in your unremarkable feeble mind would the election be "stolen" from Trump. Hillary won the popular vote by a substantial margin. A stronger case can be made for Hillary being selected by the electoral college than Trump.

You're insulting my intelligence makes you look like an idiot. I don't insult your intelligence, so don't insult mine. otherwise we have nothing more to say.

Trump won the election fair and square, so yes, it would be 'stealing' it. Because constitutionally, he's won. The rules of the game before the contest began was that the president is chosen by the electoral college. He campaigned to win the electoral college that decides Presidents. You can't retroactively change the rules of the game because you don't like the result.

If this were a popular vote election, Trump would have campaigned very differently.

Don't try to use the popular vote as an excuse to undermine the result.

You people will get one if you prevent Trump from being President.

ILMAO at Democrats want a war. What their emotions say they want their brains SHOULD tell them they'd be certain failures. Let's look at a few inconvenient facts.

1. The Republicans have control of govt.
2. The military and police force lean conservative.
3. Much of the liberal base is made up of soft people, entitled college students in need of a safe space, feminists, and deadbeats seeking excuses.

Let be know when feminists can face off against the U.S. military. Until then this is just one more example for liberals "thinking" out of their ass.

The fact is the country is feeling buyer's remorse, particularly watching the Orange Show leaving America open mouthed at being fooled.

The fact is the Orange Show rigged the election.

The fact is the Orange Show will be president.

Sometime in the first two years Pence will replace Trump.

No, the alt right and far right are far too skeered to get violent about it.

If Trump was somehow stopped from being President... there would be zero civil war. Trump supporters will just get on forums across the internet and cry about it.

You mean, sort of like how the dems did when they lost?

. More instigating bull crap ???... Don't get Kasich going again please... The man is a failure to most... Good grief.

Past tense; Future tense --- know the difference.

Nope, but the chances of someone else getting elected at the electoral college are incredibly slim.

Can you imagine if Hillary had won and we'd be sitting here trying to steal the election from Hillary using the electoral college because of her criminal behaviour and 'scandals'?

Imagine if we actually succeeded.

What if Trump won the popular vote, would it have actually made a difference to you people?

you're all a bunch of hypocrites and political opportunists.

The first clue you should have that Kasich is not going to be accepted is the fact you think he's the closest to obie and shrillary you can get in the Republican party. There's a reason that piece of shit got stomped out of the running and it's the same reason we didn't want the shrill and sent the obie retard policies packing. How the fuck do you think we would want what you do when you fucking lost?

What the fuck is an "obie"? Anything like a clarinet?
No, an obie or a barack obie if you prefer is a skin flute player. Adept at his skill of sucking his preferred instrument. Whether it be on his husband or bowing to groin level before any world leader he meets in an offering of his services.

Another "you people". That's two in the last hour. I'm collecting the whole set.

However that might have worked, and however it will work next week, it is the Electrical College who is charged (hee hee) with electing the president, not us. And they can do whatever they want, and there's fuck-all we can do about it.

you're all a bunch of hypocrites and political opportunists.

Yeah?
Why?

You people will get one if you prevent Trump from being President.

LOL- nobody wants a civil war except a few loopy right wing nut jobs who want an excuse to shoot Americans.
If you are those americans I don't see a lot of difference between you and any other communist countries soldiers. That whole at times the tree of liberty needs watered by the blood of tyrants and patriots thing.

"Suicide" is melodramatic. They're just electors, not politicians.

It's not melodramatic when you are talking about some of these Trump supporter nutjobs. Would you change your vote as an elector if you knew it would be public and have to deal with Trump supporters threatening your life? Your families life? Damaging your property?

Should it be necessary to go to war it won't need to have a single shot fired.

Just a few thousand semis parked for about 10 days.

Then when the food runs out the liberals will come crawling to Trump to call off the dogs. If they still have the strength to crawl.

The typical American city has 7-10 days of foodstuffs on the supermarket shelves. The rest in warehouses far, far away. Rural areas can hold out much longer as people live further from stores and tend to have (not all people do) more copious in-house stocks of food and other essentials. And the real strength of the Trump movement is in those non-urban places.

It's gonna be fun watching big city liberals trying to wipe their asses with their smart phones 'cause they won't even have newspaper to shred.

Which may be true if the EC had a duty to vote according the the PV, but they don't. They have a duty to vote according to the voters of their state--that's it.

That's not true of every state. In fact, it's not true of most states. And state law does not override the Constitution.

I didn't want either of the people you listed... so again nice strawman. WTF is it with you Trump supporters and strawman arguments?!?!

Kasich would be ten times the President of Trump.

Katich might have stood a chance had he hired people that told him to quit yapping about what he's done in the past and address the questions presented to him in the debates. The fact that he had terrible advisors tells me he would have made terrible decisions for his cabinet as well.

I voted for Kasich as Governor both times. I voted for Kasich for the nomination. Now I regret all my votes for him. He's proven himself to have no dignity. He's proven himself to have no integrity. He's proven himself to be a sore loser and a man that doesn't stand by his word. He is your quintessential liberal if you ask me.
