Did anyone actually watch Trump's press conference? He told the truth, everyone else, not so much.

The president was, technically, correct in many of the excuses he provided. It's near certain that there is blame to be shared by many of those involved. On all sides. This an obvious truth in nearly every incident of this sort. And it's completely irrelevant.

A President's reaction to this kind of tragedy isn't about being technically correct. He's not the lawyer-in-chief. He's a figurehead, and as such we expect him to provide catharsis and moral leadership. He failed, utterly, to do that.

No he didn't....it is his job to tell the truth about what actually happened...he did. you morons don't like the truth.....so you attack him.

Good Nazis? LOL The people in that torch light parade were chanting Nazi slogans. If they were good people they would not have been there with a torch and chanting those slogans. They came the next day with shields and clubs. Some even had assault weapons. They were flying the flag of the Nazi party right with the Confederate battle flag. You may think it fine that they were flying the swastika, damned few Americans care to see that flag in any kind of venue here in the USA.

Those weren't the people Trump was talking about asswipe. There were people who didn't want the statues taken down who aren't white racists..there are even Black Americans who don't want those statues taken down....

He equated all the counter demonstrators to the Nazis. The treasonous fat senile old orange clown is an asshole, as are all his supporters. As Senator Corker stated, the clown has yet to show any kind of the competency required to be POTUS.

And he was right to do it......in the last two years....did the white racists shut down political rallies? No. Antifa and black lives matter did.

Did the white racists attack peaceful people attending poltical rallies or college speaches? No. Antifa did and black lives matter did.

Did white racists attack police? No. Antifa and black lives matter did.

Did the white racists get invited to the White House? no. Black lives matter was.

So at this point, the white racists are zeros as far as numbers and actual activity........the only reason they get any coverage at all is so that the democrats can use them to smear Trump...who has no connection or relationship with them.

He was discussing a specific tragic event. The event was tragic because the racist side killed a woman while trying to commit mass murder. So trump comes down equally on the protestors of the racist scum who killed a girl and you guys like that.

No shit head.....antifa and black lives matter have been beating peaceful people at rallies all year long, and black lives sympathizers have been murdering police officers for the last two years......the antifa thugs started the fight.....Trump told the truth, and the truth burns you the way a cross burns a vampire......antifa has been lucky that their violence hasn't killed anyone.....but it will, espcecially as you asswipes keep giving them cover...they are getting more and more violent....

Perhaps there are. But taking down that statue was a local government decision, and it is on local government property, therefore, the outsiders have no right to get their panties in a knot. But, once again, if those 'fine people' were there, why were they in the group with torches, chanting Nazi slogans. You are trying to put lipstick on the pig.

But you seem not the care that the police consider the far right to be a far bigger danger to them than either group you mention. Considering just home grown terrorists, and excluding both 9-11 and Oklahoma City, the right wing terrorists have killed twice as many Americans since 1990 as the Islamist terrorists.

Analysis: Deadly threat from far-right extremists is overshadowed by fear of Islamic terrorism

  • threatening police officers with a knife. Last month, two Muslims attacked an anti-Islamic conference in Garland, Tex. The month before, a Muslim man was charged with plotting to drive a truck bomb onto a military installation in Kansas. If you keep up with the news, you know that a small but steady stream of American Muslims, radicalized by overseas extremists, are engaging in violence here in the United States.

But headlines can mislead. The main terrorist threat in the United States is not from violent Muslim extremists, but from right-wing extremists. Just ask the police.

In a survey we conducted with the Police Executive Research Forum last year of 382 law enforcement agencies, 74 percent reported anti-government extremism as one of the top three terrorist threats in their jurisdiction; 39 percent listed extremism connected with Al Qaeda or like-minded terrorist organizations. And only 3 percent identified the threat from Muslim extremists as severe, compared with 7 percent for anti-government and other forms of extremism.

. Who triggered the Nazi's, and then attempted to go toe to toe with the idiot's in a protest ?? The dumb ace left did that's who. The Lord said be kind to those who seek to do evil unto you, and you shall heep coals of fire upon their heads (allowing proper and peaceful processes to take place on the issues). When groups take matters into their own hands, and they set a scene for violence to errupt, then it was part of their agenda to do so. Seek not war people, but seek to make changes through the proper methods and channels to do so. The nation is set up to do just that. To do things in the wrong way just invites trouble, and anyone can find trouble if that's what they are after.

He failed, utterly, to do that.
. We expect him to condemn violence on any side period, and he did that. You failed utterly in your analogy. Destruction of public property is also considered an act of violence by a protestor. If you loot, burn down buildings and destroy property, you are committing acts of violence that is not supported by permits, the right to peacefully assemble for a redress of grievances etc.

The excuses you people give for you Dear Leader will, hopefully, embarrass you someday.

Look in the mirror of the violent protest of your side, and how orgs like Move On paid many to be there...................and get back to me.

. And what was the panel in the local government made up of ?? Was it made up of leftist or leftist sympothizers who are allowing the wrong influences to guide them into doing foolish things ?? We know how government has been infiltrated by the leftist now, and how it is pandering to every ridiculous thing out there now. They have got to remember though, that the word diversity goes many ways, and encompasses many views and characters. This nation won't be controlled by leftist forces only, so it best rethink it's ideology or strategy quick.

. Yep, it revealed a long term strategy and one sided agenda by the left, and this is why they hate him so bad. They think that he is just crazy enough to stand up for lower to middle class America again, and that doesn't sit well with the globalist or one world government strategy to include America as it's strong arm to conquer the world, end climate change, and world hunger all in one full swoop. This is a pipe dream that will end in failure, and will delete the United States Treasury into bankruptcy. Open your eyes America.
