Well, because a sitting president always wins when the question is national security. Trump could very likely dick around with America's war against Russia, and before he got the opportunity to fk it up, he would be 'dealt with'?

Whether Trump is up in the polls since his conviction, just depends upon whose polls you listen to. Some say he's up and others say he's down. If he is still on the tickets, I'm voting for him in November. If the left refuses to allow him to be a candidate, they're making an enemy of literally half the U.S. voters and as the left is regularly attacking our rights, I believe Civil War would be a justifiable response, however, as we live in an instant gratification era, I don't see that happening.
