Stossel agreed to host a debate on his show. That's a major concession to Democracy..

Gary Johnson WILL be the candidate. He will be on EVERY state ballot and he's a qualified 2 term governor of New Mexico. Don't whine about the clown circus your parties have forced on you...

Kinda like John Kasich without the "bomb all the A-rabs, pander to your phobias, dong comparing, LOVES the government spying on you" _--------------------- baggage.

He just needs a personality and a charisma booster shot.

Friday night or watch "on demand -- Tivo.".

Who is he debating?

There's really only 3 serious candidates. Johnson , John McAfee (yes the crazy McAfee you let protect your computer), and another dude who kinda makes sense but isn't a serious "administrator" or manager.

It's a chance to kick the tires on Gary Johnson -- get him some exposure and contrast solutions that you aint gonna hear from Turumph or Hildabeast..

I don't get the Tivo channel and do not know who Stossel is. I live far out in the sticks but have satellite TV. I would like to watch the Libertarian Debate and better yet if Neal Boortz shows up. Is it on a major news channel and if so please tell me what channel to tune into.

We know where Johnson stands on illegal drugs. He’s for legalizing, regulating and taxing pot. Alcohol is far more dangerous, he says. Heroin and methadone would be available with prescriptions. Addiction is a health issue, he says, not a crime. He notes that 75 percent of border violence with Mexico is due to illegal drugs, that the justice system ruins too many lives because of drug arrests, and that states spend too much on drug crime and punishment. He’s restated these stances at many rallies to reform marijuana laws, arguably where he’s drawn the biggest crowds.

Johnson’s abortion stances point to how he sees other government-backed services. He wants to cut the biggest federal health programs; Medicare for the elderly and Medicaid for the poor (which is state-run) by 43 percent, as part of a $1.7 trillion in cuts. As New Mexico’s governor, he favored federal funding of rural health clinics, but now wants to repeal Obamacare, which provides money to states for clinics. He wants to end George W. Bush’s prescription drug subsidy for seniors. He wants states to determine how they will use federal Medicaid dollars. These stances, if enacted, would make life far more difficult for the poor and elderly.

If they're not comparing penises then it just ain't worth it.

Need to dethrone the FEC -- kick the party out of there --- and make a rule that if the PARTY clawed it's way onto enough state to win an electoral college vote --- their candidate should AUTOMATICALLY be included.

It's a huge effort just to get on the ballots. And I've been working for YEARS to get a rules change like that..

What happened to Pride in the US? I have been homeless more than once in my life but never accepted one penny of government assistance, never went to college, never accepted money from my parents but always start at the bottom of the ladder and climb to the top and retired a wealthy man from legal speculation in the stock market that I paid all capital gains on. I have a strong work ethic but have found myself down at the bottom of a deep hole, when I find myself at the bottom of a deep hole there is only one way out and that is up.

All those seem to ME to be the right direction.. States SHOULD experiment with their own versions of Health care delivery... Carefully decriminalizing drugs and abuse a medical issue is sane. He was BOLD about it -- before pot shops ever existed. We're GENERALLY ahead of the curve. As in the idea of Med Savings Accounts which came out of Cato Institute and is STILL an important solution (for some) in health care....

School Vouchers, varying road tolls by volume/timeofday, --- lots of contribution from the Libertarian think tanks.

He's the ONLY candidate who won't start WW3 in the Mid-East with either incompetent diplomacy or projection of power. And he's bloody serious about ENDING corporate handouts and welfare. Something that MOST folks agree on..

You SHOULD be able to. The Stossel show is on Fox Business and/or Fox News. I think his weekly show starts on Fox News and gets replayed on Fox Business,. I THINK 9PM eastern..

I believe Johnson should be allow to debate Trump and Clinton ( If they are the two big parties candidates ) or Cruz and Sanders because it will give the American voter a chance to see there can be a third choice.

I have no delusion in believing Johnson can win the Electoral College but if enough votes are cast for him then it will send the message to the Two Bigger Political Parties that swing and third part voters are tire of their silly nonsense and it is time for them to clean their mess up or changes will come!

Now what the Libertarian Party need to do ( Like the Tea Party Caucus has done ) is get more people elected to the House and Senate so it can help them get a better footing in DC while also winning States, and Local Government elections, and if they do this then winning the White House is possible but if not then all those like Johnson are is the spoiler which in this election could hurt the GOP...

( Key words: If, Would and Can )

I like the color of your bunny outfit and it matches the color of my brand new Ford pickup truck, Flame Blue.

In reality -- there ARE and have been Libertarians in Congress. Like Ron Paul. Or his son. OR Blue Dog Democrats for that matter.. Those are now extinct because the Dem party largely abandoned them as "embarrasing" to the party...

You need to look at the names of the 36 Congress members that CAUCUS with the "Liberty Caucus". They are all self-declared "small l" Libertarians and you will find MANY (not all) T.,P. folks in that list..

We WELCOME a legit Socialist party onto the ballot. In fact --- the Libertarians and the Greens have consistently cooperated on ballot access issues.

Gary and Bernie would agree to debate. Would be a pay per view event...

Throw Ventura into the Libertarian debate, and then you might just get the ratings and Johnson will get a run for his money.
