DirecTV

They gave their content to direct in exchange for getting to sell their own on-air ads. They now want $13M ($1 per subscriber) per year. Direct said no. I don't see Direct yielding on this point. This isn't their first rodeo. They have many many times not renewed just to have broadcasters cave when they lost viewership and ad money by leaving Direct. Newmax will as well. If their ads were selling that well, they wouldn't be flexing this way.
 
DirecTV sucks on toast....Dish is only but barely less sucky.

Can't wait until we get fiber optic at the tree ranch, so Roku will be available.
I bought a 32" ROKU TV to use as a desktop computer monitor. It gets over 200 free channels via the antenna. I wasn't even expecting that. I just bought it because it was a 32 inch monitor for under $100.
