Do nothing congress

ACA only covers 10 million people today, the other 28 million Obama pledged to cover yeah FAIL shocker.

Everyone who qualifies for free coverage gets it. Who are these 28 million not getting coverage?

Wow a liberal who's uninformed I'm shocked, shocked I tell you. Sign up for the daily White House briefing, they cover the ACA failures and the 28 million uninsured today.

You people have yet to realize that the less Congress does the better it is for we the people

Spot On. When Congress is 'Doing Something', you can bet it's something to benefit Government and themselves only. It won't benefit Citizens. About the only good it can possibly do at this point, is work on a Balanced Budget agreement. Our shocking $21 Trillion Debt will have to be addressed at some point.

All the rest is B.S. It's only about enriching themselves. All folks need to do is ask themselves how we got to the shocking $21 Trillion Debt. There's our beloved Congress at work. That's it 'Doing Something.'

The best way to reduce the deficit (not the entire debt) is to establish priorities and create budgets by evaluating cost benefits and cost deficits, giving the POTUS the line-item veto & Congress the ability to override any blue penciled item, and for our leaders to lead by example:

  • if 1/6th of our economy is health care, that should be a priority not a punching bag solely for political advantage.
  • COTUS gives the Congress the authority in Art. I, sec. 8, clause 1 to provide for the general Welfare and the common defense, yet some of us believe that only applies to defending against foreign nations, not epidemics, pandemics, or preventable disease (what cost to our economy is heart disease, diabetes and even cancer - why is tobacco legal?)
  • What is the cost of gun violence in the US each year?

Its too late, we are in such a financial mess the only hope we have is to grow our way out of the problem with economic growth. Spending cuts are like shooting spit wads at the problem. Unfortunately government from the Federal government on down to local city government are latched onto business like vampires sucking them dry and obstructing them with regulations. Just ACA generated 10's of thousands of pages of government regulations. The Obama administration added 800,000 pages of new government regulations.

What are some of the bad regulations Obama put in place? And are you sure about your facts because you guys lie a lot. Look at what Romney said: "This administration's regulations are even invading the freedom of everyday Americans," he said, before beginning an anecdote about Mike and Chantell Sackett, a couple who ... bought a piece of land on which they had hoped to build a home. But when they started digging ... they were told by the Environmental Protection Agency to stop, because their home was on a wetland....

However, Mr. Romney did not mention that the Sacketts encountered their run-in with the E.P.A. under President George W. Bush's administration, not under Mr. Obama.

Don't take my word for it, go talk to the Dem senators from West Virginia who penned a scathing letter to Obama in early 2009 when he destroyed a new coal mine and its jobs. They had spent millions of dollars complying with every government regulation and requirement to open this mine. They were within days of opening, Obama and his goons shut them down.

Then why the fuck did you use it against Obama ya fucking right wing hacks?
If you ever bother to take your head out of your ass for one second you would know that I posted that very same quote during the Obammy years

You see I am not a little sheep like you who follows one party no matter what I follow no party no politician and no dogma

The less the fucking governemnt does no matter which party happens to be in charge the better it is for us

So now go find a quote where I used a do nothing congress as derogatory statement of Obama

ONE more time: We need to establish priorities and to judge every item in the budget and every new piece of legislation (and especially every EO and tweet) by this standard: Is it a cost benefit, a cost deficit or neutral.

BTW, Trump's tweets, saber rattling and Brinkmanship is heading toward war in Asia. TR said it best, "speak softly and carry a big stick"; No one wins in a nuclear war.

Your Congress has only one priority. And that's to acquire more money and power for themselves. So when they're 'Doing Something', you can bet it benefits them, not American Citizens.
