Do you ever feel like a TOTAL LOSER in life?

Serious question, not joking around.

Compared to other people who have become extremely accomplished and successful in their careers or w/e they do for a living, do you ever feel like a massive nobody? People like Mark Zuckerberg, who are multi-BILLIONAIRES thanks to their own genius inventions make me jealous. Even if I compare myself to someone who has a decent amount of disposable income, nice house, nice car and can afford several vacations per year, I tend to feel jealous of them.

Anyone else ever feel this way?
(I'm not looking for support, just am genuinely curious if others feel the same)...

I don't compare myself to others based on their monetary value....

If I were rich i'd give it to poor people, so i would never be rich in dollars, but I am rich in family and health.

No you wouldn't...

You'd be a Soros... You wouldn't give one cent of personal wealth to charity - you would however donate to socialist think tanks...

You wouldn't drop 7 cents in a Salvation Army can.....

We are not supposed to be like them. We are supposed to be like we want to be. There is much that they sacrifice to get to that level and maintain it. We enjoy many, many priviledges that they can not. Think positive, Vegan. If you can get up in the morning and put your feet on the ground and breath, that is a good day.

That is correct. i would not give to charities, I would do as my Papa did and visit the poor in their homes and bring them relief.

So basically you drink as soon as you wake up and stop once you go to sleep.:eusa_hand:

In what universe is drinking bad?

Winston Churchill probably wasn't sober during WWII... Hell half the soldiers were drunk to boot...

I definently don't think drinking is bad but posting on here while intoxicated is rarely a good move.

Why?

You do realize that the strong majority of journalists pre-1970 wrote all their articles drunk as a skunk??

They viewed alcohol as a stimulant that helped them write....

I suppose my point is that drunk posting is nothing new...

Yes, journalists would sit at their desks circa 1950 with a glass of whiskey and write a story, then it would be printed the next day in the paper...

Hell, look at Hunter Thompson for fucks sake...

I only drink when I am posting on this site.

Helps me unwind.

Drinking and driving is bad.

Drinking and working is bad.

Being drunk around your kids is bad.

Drinking to alcoholism is bad.

Drinking to death is bad.

And I love good beer, wine, cognac and scotch. But it's a drug that shouldn't be abused.

The chief reason for drinking is the desire to behave in a certain way, and to be able to blame it on alcohol. ~Mignon McLaughlin, The Neurotic's Notebook, 1960

When I was growing up in the 60's everybody drank, breakfast, noon and night, till you could hear them hit the floor.
