Yesterday, it was revealed that the Dodgers fired Ohtani's interpreter.

Turns out that allegedly the interpreter had his hands on some $4.5 million of Ohtani's money and used that to pay illegal bookies who themselves are under Federal investigation.

That investigation revealed Ohtanis' name. So, is the interpreter the fall guy here? How does an interpreter get his hands on Ohtani's money?

Or, was the guy used as an intermediary for Ohtani's gambling? And did Ohtan gamble on baseball? Pete Rose for one wants to know.

There is something fishy about this.

NOW they are.

"But there are several more twists to the story. When Tisha Thompson, ESPN’s investigative reporter, first started hunting around, Ohtani’s representatives told her it was Mizuhara betting on sports and Ohtani transferring the money to cover his losses. Ohtani’s team then permitted Mizuhara to sit for a 90-minute interview Tuesday night. Mizuhara told ESPN that he started placing bets on credit with Bowyer after meeting him at a San Diego poker game in 2021. His losses reached $1 million by the end of 2022 and exploded from there." - Intelligencer
