I've been torn on this.
I don't think Trump's a flight risk. Every place he would want to go to has extradition treaties with the US and permanence in Russia or N. Korea is not his style.
But I do think Trump's public pronouncements pose a serious national security risk.
On the one hand jailing Trump would enrage his cult but on the other hand his behavior is enraging the cult. Seems we need a few more hands.
I think it best right now to seclude Trump at Bedminster. No travel. No interviews except in the presence of his attorneys. Close the club completely. Zero staff beyond maintenance. No phone access except to his attorneys. No internet access. No e-mail except to his attorneys. Visits limited to immediate family and attorneys.
I'm not a big fan of bond and I doubt a proper bond could be set anyway.
