Let me ask you....when you were looking it up, did you find the idiom "monkeying things up"?"Messing things up" "throwing a monkey wrench into things" "monkeying around"You have to wonder what rock a leftist has been under not to know what the term monkeying things up means.
Funny, I googled "monkeying things up" and nothing like that phrase is out there.
that's because you damaged the actual wording. It's the VERB form of monkey....
