This is a powerful movie. It will disturb you, make you feel a bit uncomfortable at times. It is funny, it is outrageous.
Nicholas Cage is THE actor for this movie. After making SO many bad choices, his past few films are reminding us that he is actually a very good actor.
The soul of the movie is what it is like living in a society that has gone mad. And how that madness can ruin innocent people, and no one cares. In fact, society will gladly join in on your ruin very publicly without reason or cause.
Me personally, I don't buy the producers claim that the movie is about societies lack of empathy unless they, themselves experience it... that people only care about something when it happens to them.

The trailer is also deceiving, I totally thought this was going to be a comedy... because that is how they presented it.
