And, it has increased his support among centrist voters, without which, the GOP could not win the congressional seats necessary to become the majority party following next year's Mid-terms.

If he wasn't expecting his protesters to riot at the Capitol he sent them to, don't you think he would have sent help immediately, once he saw the police overwhelmed?
