Well I managed to get my pathetic vacuum un-plugged. I had to beg a friend to deliver a wire hanger to me, because I couldn't find one....

But after serious wrassling and some unscrewing I finally got it to suck again.

And I vacuumed the shit out of my house.

Then I brushed the shit out of my dog outside...he was very itchy, and he's shedding for winter. I got bit by mosquitoes, which is a drag.

But my house is livable again. It was horrible. I could feel the hair from my knees down as I walked through the house....

I just got a Bissell 3 in 1 vacuum at Walmart for $14,99. Oriental rugs (from Iran or other great rug manufactures) are the only rugs one should have. Hard wood floors are easy to clean with a sponge mop that is $11.99 or so at Home Depot!

I completely agree!

Sadly, there are still landlords who think carpet is the way to go.

I have to say though, I'm fond of braided rugs too. We can't all have Oriental rugs...and with my dogs, it's probably for the best that we don't.
