We're in the feedback loop...now to be fair this is not the first time. It has happened before.

Did we screw up the process? Maybe.... maybe not. Man's contribution to the global CO2 pool is so minimal you have to ask yourself how we have survived as a planet up till now. If the balance is that delicate how did we avoid annihilation all these millennia? Clearly there's more to the puzzle.

Then of course the Sun is progressing towards its helium stage...they claim that there has been no change in energy output recently but that simply cannot be true. Maybe they can't measure it...but it is irrefutably there.

Could it be that we are measuring it now through our global climate? I don't think anyone can 100% rule it out. But I digress.

We are in the feedback loop. What will happen now? Could go either way.
We could boil..or we could freeze.
