Breaking on TV now. I'll link when available.

A commercial airliner from France has "gone missing" over the Mediterranean. They're saying it is gone...likely went down in the sea. Unknown why.

Dropped below radar

Explode

and Europe doesn't give a fig

I am not travelling to Europe no more ...yuck!

South America is a better proposition ...nowadays!

sad news. Anybody remembers, that missed plane would have become alive after all?

Reports of fire in the sky are surfacing. Not sure how legit they are considering the plane was still over water. Of course boats do exist in this century but whatever....

Where did you get that idea?

I will travel to the rest of the world.....but not to Islamic invaded Europe.

thank you very much.
I'm a bit envious. I've never left the US.

If I could go anywhere it would be Egypt. Their history is more fascinating to me than just about anyone's

Distress call is now being reported to be received by the Egyptian military.

Terrible way to die. Sheer terror for your final moments.

Very sad

The situation is utter chaos right now. Officials received an automated distress 'signal' two hours after the plane dropped from the radar. I'm guessing it's the beacon, though. The pilot or the crew did not send a distress call it seems.

Now crossing the wire that the Egyptian Civil Air Authority is now claiming that "it is too early to confirm whether the plane has crashed."
