Egyptian Airliner goes missing over Mediterranean

Smells like terrorism, a mechanical failure, or an engine fire. I'm hearing that the plane did not descend down, but it simply dropped out of the sky. Planes don't just "drop out of the sky" unless there was a rapid depressurization and disintegration due to an explosion, or disintegration due to the plane going over speed.

This really reeks of terrorism in my opinion. Consider the observation of the merchant ship captain who saw "fire going across the sky."

The last time a plane went down in Egypt is was attributed to the Russians, not Islamic terrorism.

French surveillance jet joins EgyptAir search
May 19, 2016 -- The latest news on EgyptAir Flight 804 from Paris to Cairo, carrying 66 people, which disappeared early Thursday. (All times are Egyptian.)

The French military says a Falcon surveillance jet monitoring the Mediterranean for migrants has been diverted to help search for an EgyptAir flight that crashed in the area. Military spokesman Col. Gilles Jaron told The Associated Press that the jet is joining the Egypt-led search effort, and the French navy may send another plane and a ship to the zone. He said the Falcon was on a surveillance mission as part of EU efforts to monitor migrants crossing the Mediterranean toward Europe. The French government has offered military help to find the plane, en route from Paris to Cairo when it disappeared.

Airbus says the missing Egyptian plane flight was delivered to EgyptAir in 2003 and had logged 48,000 flight hours. The European plane-maker said in a statement Thursday that the plane had engines made by Swiss-based engine consortium IAE, and had the serial number 2088. Airbus said it is ready to help authorities investigating the disappearance and said "our concerns go out to all those affected."

The director of Greece's Civil Aviation Authority says air traffic controllers were in contact with the pilot of the EgyptAir flight as it passed through Greek airspace. The director, Konstantinos Lintzerakos, said the plane was at 37,000 feet, traveling at 519 mph, and did not report any problem. Lyzerakos told private Antenna television that controllers tried to make contact with the pilot 10 miles before the flight exited the Greek Flight Information Range (FIR), but the pilot did not respond. Lyzerakos says controllers continued trying to contact the pilot until 3:39 a.m. Greek time (1239 GMT) when the plane disappeared from the radar. Lyzerakos says the plane was in Cairo's FIR when it vanished.

France's transport chief says there were three Egyptian security officers on the EgyptAir flight that disappeared after leaving Paris for Cairo. Alain Vidalies told reporters Thursday after an emergency government meeting that the plane had seven crew members and three Egyptian security officers, "which is the usual practice." He said the plane was not carrying freight.

"EgyptAir flight probably crashed over Mediterranean Sea

An EgyptAir flight from Paris to Cairo carrying 66 passengers and crew disappeared from radar over the Mediterranean Sea early Thursday and probably crashed, reports said.

Egyptian and Greek authorities said the plane likely went down near the Greek island of Crete but there was no official confirmation. Greece's defense ministry mobilized a search and rescue operation. No wreckage has been located."

There are no muslims in Egypt and muslims are never terrorists so this is obviously not a terrorist event. Anyone suspecting so would have to be an islamaphobe.
But...but..lots of Muslims in Paris where the flight originated. Ah, but they're probably the peace loving ones who just want to get on with life in Gay Paree, keep their wives' facial hair neatly trimmed, and enjoy robust sex lives with their goats when not praying to Allah.

Well, the religion of peace only produces a tiny 10% of these murderers.....so it's not all that much of a problem. What's 10% of 1.2 billion?

Why the fuck are Muslims allowed near any airport? The Donald is the only one with the guts to stop the madness.

They just said the plane was steady at 37,000 feet then immediately plunged to 15,000 feet and took a 90 degree turn to the right then a turn to the left then nothing. It had three air Marshal's on board. I suspect a struggle took place with the Marshal's and whoever was behind the controls or someone else and they detonated a bomb.
