In 1912 the socialist party captured 6% of the popular vote, by comparison...

100 years later they captured 51% of the vote. How do we account for the United States becoming so radicalized in a scant 100 years?

I blame three things:
1.) In 1960's radicals gained control of education system and fucked up the minds of millions.
2.) Liberal media bias at a rate of 80% + pro socialist. NYC and Washington D.C. control political reporting in United States.
3.) Lyndon Johnson and the Great Society programs of 1960's that have been a complete failure or are bankrupting the United States.

Are you fuckin' stupid?

The Socialist candidate in 2012 was Stewart Alexander, who got 4430 votes. I had to look that up, being as how that represents somewhere around one-third of one hundredth of one percent. Or about eighteen hundred times less than Debs got in 1912.

The party you have there in blue is called the "Democratic Party", and the two figures are 41.8% and 51%. Not at all significant.

Nope. The Socialist candidate was Barack Obama.

When the masses discovered that they could vote themselves money from the government, all hell broke loose
but as a famous lady once said, socialism is great until you run out of other peoples money.

You posted, and I quote, "Socialist". I just blew it up for ya. That's a proper name. And the Socialist Party candidate was, again, Stewart Alexander. Barack O'bama is a Democrat.

Fucking idiot.

The Socialist Party USA (SPUSA) is a multi-tendency democratic socialist party in the United States that is the ideological continuation and successor of the Socialist Party of America, which existed from 1901 to 1972.

The party is officially committed to left-wing democratic socialism. The Socialist Party USA, along with its predecessor, has received varying degrees of support when its candidates have competed against those from the Republican and Democratic parties. Some attribute this to the party having to compete with the financial dominance of the two major parties, as well as the limitations of the United States' legislatively[3][4] and judicially[5] entrenched two-party system. The Party supports third-party candidates, particularly socialists, and opposes the candidates of the two major parties.

The Party self-describes as opposing all forms of oppression, specifically capitalism and authoritarian forms of Communism, the Party advocates for the creation of a "radical democracy that places people's lives under their own control - a non-racist, classless, feminist socialist society... where working people own and control the means of production and distribution through democratically-controlled public agencies, cooperatives, or other collective groups.; where full employment is realized for everyone who wants to work; where workers have the right to form unions freely, and to strike and engage in other forms of job actions; and where the production of society is used for the benefit of all humanity, not for the private profit of a few." [6] (Wiki) <<
--- That party's candidate was Stewart Alexander. It had nothing to do with Barack O'bama.

See that reference to the "Socialist Party of America"?? THAT is your yellow sliver of the pie where Eugene Debs got 6%, and the forerunner of the SPUSA --- who ran Stewart Alexander in 2012.

How the fuck do you cretins figure out how to put a post up, if you're this fucking stupid? Obviously neither of you mental midgets is qualified to be opining on politics if you fail at this elementary level.

If the American people did decide to vote a socialist ticket would they have that right?

All your dipshit pie charts show is that the US election system has weeded out everything that isn't part of the Demoplican-Republicrat, a single Duopoly party that dresses up in red or blue puppets so that morons like you think you're indulging in "choice".

Apparently even the illusion isn't enough for you, and you want a single puppet in a single color.

Fucking MORON.

not without some changes to the constitution, no.

This Bush92 poster must be a masochist who is on here to get his daily share of abuse......and liking it....Just another right wing idiot who probably is thinking that an "Obama is a socialist" tattoo would look nice on his forehead.
