Facing an Immovable Far Right Congress, Obama is About To Govern by Executive Order

The new GOP mantra is to delegitimize, defund, derail, and destroy the basic government functions that serve the people while preserving the corporate welfare for the 1% at all costs.. All pretense of doing the people's work has vanished. Republicans appear to have mounted an all-out attack on the citizenry. The initiatives that they have championed--gun rights, abortion restrictions, weakening Social Security and Medicare, repealing Obamacare, eliminating food stamps--all seem designed to shoot, enslave, sicken or starve us into submission. They've fought collective bargaining, unemployment compensation, and every other program that might help ordinary people. They refuse to raise revenue, and then claim that there is no money to help anyone.

Republicans banned voting on Sundays Chris?

President Obama can issue another 144 executive orders before he surpasses George Bush's total.

And he has plenty of time to do it. Don't think he won't.
The big difference is Obama issues executive orders because he believes his word is law and should he not get his way with the Congress, a body he believes should simply go along with what he wants, he issues executive orders. In simple terms, Obama does not govern. He rules.

Tea baggers have a sixth sense when it comes to reading Obama's intentions: do have have a link to the President's reasons for using the EO?

I know that you wish that were true---but its not. The tea party is real america and its getting stronger every day as more and more americans get fed up with obama's lies and marxist ideas.

Does the OP even know the structure of his own Government? Who has power in those houses? How the structure works? And could this be another hyper-partisan yelling in the wilderness for attention?

ANy questions?...Good. These are perfect examples of the manner in which Obama presents himself as a ruler rather than a governor.

On immigration, it's the rag tag tea party against the Republican and Democrat Parties.

Guess who's gonna win this one?

:)
The TEA Party are the people...so in a way? You're correct. The Gubmint doesn't care squat of the people that elect them They keep it up? They are going to find out the real power we have, and they can't do squat of it except be more of tyrants than they are.

You're damned right. The people who PAY the taxes should be the ones deciding how to SPEND the taxes. Not those who sit on their asses all day and suck up money earned by others.
