French feminists are demanding that a statue, depicting a famous photograph taken after the announcement of the end of World War II, be removed from Normandy, France, because it depicts sexual assault.

I think these gals have nothing else to do. They’ve got education, jobs, maternity leaves and divorces. So now they attack history. Btw, they might want to call it herstory, for that matter.
As for me, I love this monument, this photo, and the story behind it.

Ah yes, a time when a man was a man and a woman was a sex object...

I don't think I've ever met an attractive woman -a straight woman- who didn't enjoy being an object of sexual attraction, Moonglow. Besides, this has nothing to do with feminism unless it's of the bull dyke persuasion. This is just the French doing what the French do best: being America-hating assholes.

Um, the French are the last people on Earth to be upitty about sexual assault. How about we go through Paris museums and remove anything some might consider 'inappropriate' from the French Revolution?

Google
french revolution rape

for some honest to goodness sexual assaults in art.
