top of my list is Sky Cries Mary, a little-known Seattle-based band who did some great stuff back in the mid-90's...

Most of my favorite musicians are completely unheard of here in the States.

Even this guy, who is from the States... hugely popular in Europe, completely unknown in the US. And his session singer for this tune is a Texan I believe.

The lyrics are thought-provoking. The low-budget video is a little creepy, too. Overall, very well done.

Even though my most favorite singer James Otto had the number one country song of 2008 named "I Just Got Started Loving You", sadly the precious beautiful sweet hearted teddy bear, who looks like a football player by growing as much as 6 feet and 5 inches, I guess is still pretty unknown. I pray so hard that such a thing about him changes some day soon because to me, there isn't anyone underneath the Lord who sings with more soul, heart, and passion than James does. This is the song that made me the fan of him that I have been ever since I first heard him sing this song just over five years ago and ever since then hearing him sing the song has made me want to put my arms around him and just never let him go. :) :) :)

God bless you and him always!!! :) :) :)
