A mandatory locale-security monitoring national operation involving all Home Depot hardware stores was initiated by the consumerism-savvy Trump Administration looking to coordinate traffic crime patrol with market reporting.

It is part of an overall Domestic Security Program designed to ward off socio-cultural flaws impeding the capital
progress towards nationalized consumerism. This is in response to concerns that local crime and terror can be disproportionately assigned to a general lack of homeland security (in regards to the citizenry invested
consumer-securities terrorism targets such as the World Trade Center).

What is your reaction?

The Trump Administration will be a media administration.

~whispers~ I have no idea what he's asking for here... Is it catching illegals looking for jobs in front of home depot?

American Wire

That's what it really is...an allusion for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Isn't goods-buying and hardware-collecting a sign of American apprenticeship (e.g., Bob Vila, Bob Ross)?

"You Americans liberally purchase hand-guns endorsed by NRA and sell power-tools to any pedestrian with money in consumer market and call it Casablanca!" -Osama on Obama.

I don't believe that...

Saturday Night Deals

I remember when a friend of mine made the joke, "The Taliban attacked the World Trade center on 9/11 to make a pun about the USA police emergency calling code (9-11)!"

The talk of the day is the coordination of the masses. It's why we've elected either two culture-diplomats (Obama - multiculturalism; Trump - capitalism) or two history-process 'token-presidents.'

When did culture-exchange facilitated by trade relations become prestigious between the time of the Industrial Revolution and the emergence and flowering of Facebook? Was it the successes of Chrysler or the awesome impact of IBM?

When race-relations really became a hot issue in American politics (e.g., JFK-era), people became more concerned about immigration-related crime and gun-control, a 'paranoia' perhaps 'justified' by the LA Race Riots of 1992.

Do we appreciate images of graphic violence in American horror films such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and A Nightmare on Elm Street as representations of social contract (i.e., civics) breakdown, or is it a question of 'mass-psychiatry' and deviance and social control?

The liberal sale of power-tools signifies an increased pedestrian interest in do-it-yourself home-improvement (a modern 'trend'), and it also reflects the sale/marketing of lifestyle 'alchemicals' (alchemy) such as water-guns for kids in toy stores across the USA.

That's why this is a 'police-state fear.' This is the challenge faced by the Trump Administration. The world is waiting to see if Americans have elected a simple venture-capitalist or a man who can handle the issues created in this new world of commerce-gauged 'etiquette.'

This is the new Saturday Night Fever...

It would be interesting to do a sociological/historical study of neighborhood curfews and community citizen-patrols in America between 1950 and 2015.

COP 1: Kids like Leatherface and MTV now...
COP 2: They used to like the rainbow-loving Care Bears.
COP 1: There must be a middle ground in modern culture.
COP 2: Sure, there's Star Wars (LEGO, etc.).
COP 1: I like The Force Awakens.
COP 2: We don't want copycat-crime sprees (e.g., Natural Born Killers).
COP 1: That was a mess...
COP 2: What do you think about the liberal sale of guns and chainsaws?
COP 1: Is there an NRA for power-tool sales?
COP 2: Nope. Anyone can purchase a chainsaw in the USA.
COP 1: "Trick-or-Treat!"
COP 2: Let's continue our patrol of Home Depot hardware stores...

Diplomatic Cupboard

The two pop-culture characters Mr. Rogers (a community-values oriented neighborhood pseudo-fictional 'American sage' and 'captain' of the guidance-themed TV program Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood) and Jay Gatsby (the fictional ambitious fortune-earner and romance-brooder from F. Scott Fitzgerald's temperance-pensive novel about the sensitizing Roaring Twenties The Great Gatsby) symbolize a social appreciation of sociology-oriented characterization.

Mr. Rogers and Jay Gatsby both represent a human analysis of the consequences of lifestyle choices.

We think of such of modern-media/arts characters when we discuss the value of social etiquette as it applies to new age pedestrianism based decision-making.

What would Mr. Rogers and Jay Gatsby say about the NRA or about the liberal sale of power-tools to 'do-it-yourself' minded modern consumers? Such a question goes to the heart of American culture processes that gauge self-determined 'culture governance.'

What would Mr. Rogers and Jay Gatsby say about enforced neighborhood curfews for kids? This is indeed the challenge of the modern traffic landscape of urbanization and suburban sprawl and how consumerism/marketing affects the rules of conduct, which is why we see Hollywood (USA) films such as Traffic and
Clerks.

ROGERS: America is a land of many sales.
GATSBY: Many salesmen.
ROGERS: Everybody wants to embrace the American Dream.
GATSBY: America is a land of dreamers...
ROGERS: The key is to navigate through this landscape of opportunities.
GATSBY: Students today are learning about investing in the stock market.
ROGERS: The free market is a rich network of leaders and merchants around the world.
GATSBY: Who is Jay Gatsby, Gordon Gekko, Richie Rich, and Citizen Kane?
ROGERS: Who is Bob Vila, Ronald McDonald, JFK, and C. Everett Koop?
GATSBY: Citizenry-vigilance is the hallmark of new age commerce (e.g., eBay seller-ratings).
ROGERS: There are wonderful films such as Class Action about the activities of commerce-pensive legal professionals.
GATSBY: We can be 'lax' about neighborhood curfews only for Halloween trick-or-treaters!

The Divine Ledger: Prose

Here is a mock dialogue about social control between Krishna (Hindu god of negotiation) and Shiva (Hindu god of destruction).

SHIVA: I'd prefer driving a bus.
KRISHNA: Curfews are considered smart now.
SHIVA: It's a backlash to liberal TV.

SHIVA: Yes, streamlined signals-production.
KRISHNA: What is the secret of censorship?
SHIVA: Gun-control.
KRISHNA: How does one monitor Home Depot hardware stores?
SHIVA: Parking-lot security.
KRISHNA: I like the film American History X.
SHIVA: Neo-Nazi characterizations...
KRISHNA: Public bath-houses cater to homosexuality.
SHIVA: There should be an 'anti-McCarthyism manual.'

Just the tools that look like assault weapons..

There are those tree limb trimmers extension poles with chainsaws,, pretty scary..
i wonder if my home depot has lifesize dummies for the customers to test out the chainsaws.
