Fema doesn’t have funding through hurricane season, warns Mayorkas

What evidence do you have that the guy in video is lying?

Rumor: FEMA will only provide $750 to disaster survivors to support their recovery.

Fact:

This is false.

One type of assistance that is often approved quickly after you apply is Serious Needs Assistance, which is $750 to help pay for essential items like food, water, baby formula, breastfeeding supplies, medication and other emergency supplies. There are other forms of assistance that you may qualify to receive once you apply for disaster assistance. As your application continues to be reviewed, you may still receive additional forms of assistance for other needs such as support for temporary housing and home repair costs. Learn more about the types of assistance available. If you have questions about your disaster assistance application and what you qualify for, contact us at 1-800-621-3362 to speak with a FEMA representative.

Biden and Harris repurposed FEMA to handle illegal aliens... call them and ask them.... its not a secret....
Biden Harris Garland and Mayorkis belong in prison...

Rumor: Funding for FEMA disaster response was diverted to support international efforts or border related issues.

Fact:

This is false. No money is being diverted from disaster response needs. FEMA’s disaster response efforts and individual assistance is funded through the Disaster Relief Fund, which is a dedicated fund for disaster efforts. Disaster Relief Fund money has not been diverted to other, non-disaster related efforts.

I did call and I'm pretty sure the gal who I asked died laughing.

So.....Where'd the money go?

The regime hates Americans. Everything they do is anti-American and pro illegal invader.

Hurricane Helene has killed hundreds of Americans across six states, obliterated entire settlements, and left multitudes of citizens homeless, hungry, and exposed in the dark.

Help is badly needed. The trouble, according to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, is that the Federal Emergency Management Agency lacks the requisite funds.

During a press briefing Wednesday, Mayorkas told reporters, "We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have. We are expecting another hurricane hitting. We do not have the funds."

Congress recently poured $20 billion into FEMA's disaster relief fund and enabled the agency to draw on the funds with greater ease, reported the Associated Press.

FEMA's shelter and services program is a prime offender, providing "financial support to non-federal entities to provide humanitarian services to noncitizen migrants following their release from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The intent is to support CBP in the safe, orderly and humane release of noncitizen migrants from short-term holding facilities."

The total funding made available for this program in fiscal year 2024 was $650 million. The funding total in fiscal year 2023 was $363.8 million. Hundreds of millions were previously awarded by FEMA for migrants through the emergency food and shelter program.

Earlier this year, nearly $19.6 million in FEMA funds was used to pay for an illegal alien welcome center in San Diego County.

In response to Mayorkas turning out empty pockets, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) wrote, "This is easy. Mayorkas and FEMA — immediately stop spending money on illegal immigration resettlement and redirect those funds to areas hit by the hurricane. Put Americans first."

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) tweeted, "FEMA spending over a billion dollars on illegals while they leave Americans stranded and without help is treasonous. U.S. citizens are dying. Pray for our country folks."

"'The Biden-Harris FEMA spent over $1 BILLION on funding illegal aliens.' America LAST," wrote Rep. Eli Crane (R-Ariz.).

No one would have known a thing unless the hurricane hit. That says it all about the reps hope to save America. Totally out of touch, in the dark and completely useless.

Who started that rumor I wonder? Oh yeah the consummate liars at Neo-GOP propaganda central! I wonder what other phony stories they have on tap for the saps.
FEMA is failing in North Carolina. Explain that. Also, Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota, and Lee counties have people wiped out by flooding.

My point is the Faux Sphere lied to you when they said it was diverted to immigrants. These migrant based lies seem to spread like wildfire so some reason.
You actually believe FEMA? FEMA handles both disaster relief and immigrants yet they seem to have endless money to support the illegal immigrant policies of Biden and Harris and not enough for a major disaster involving Americans. Myorkas said, at the beginning of the year, that FEMA had enough to cover disasters. The money obviously went to illegals.

Okay. The most powerful storm in our short recorded history to hit western NC is to blame. It's a lot of rural areas and many small communities are cut off and it takes time to reach everyone effected. My point is no money was diverted from the dedicated disaster fund to help migrants.

Where is your proof that the disaster fund was drained to support migrants? FEMA's support for disaster victims doesn't stop after the initial response. There are intermediate funds and long term funds that they dole out. Those are the funds that Congress did not funded in the lastest funding bill. But the spin master know Homeland Security does help migrants through separate funds so it was easy to conflate the two for the flock.

They gots to buy them votes. Citizens don't matter, especially in red States.

.

Imagine being so floridly terminal with TDS you're jumping around about more lawfare while Americans can see that FEMA won't help you out in a disaster because illegals stole all your tax money.

Correction:

Democrats GAVE your tax money to illegals

The government can find lots of money for student loan bailouts, putting up illegals in nice hotels in New York City, giving bundles of cash to some of the most evil groups on Earth to keep them happy. But no funds for the million or more Americans still without food, water, power, and/or shelter. This has almost certainly contributed to at least some of the deaths which they still don't know how many more of the dead they will find or how many will still die because they haven't received any help.

Watching the news tonight, person after person tearfully expressed how desperate their situations were have been and none had seen a single FEMA person or any FEMA activity. Biden did call a couple of governors three days ago to ask what they needed but what they need has not been forthcoming. The glowing reports of all FEMA is doing on their website appears to be pure fantasy.

That thousands per person have been drained from FEMA to spend on illegals to keep them comfortable and happy and now we don't have the funds that were set aside for American disaster relief is simply criminal.

That is pure malfeasance and could even possibly be bordering on treason.

Ever???

You literally claim FEMA has no funds to help with Hurricane Helene victims...

But then in your post, you say that they do have the funds. :cuckoo:

What is wrong with you people?

More than 5,000 personnel from across the federal workforce are deployed, including more than 1,500 from FEMA. To date, FEMA has shipped over 9.3 million meals, more than 11.2 million liters of water, 150 generators and more than 260,000 tarps to the region.

He didn't say it was broke. He said there's not enough money for FEMA if another hurricane hits us. And it's entirely possible another hurricane doesn't hit us. And if one does, Congress can return from their recess to give FEMA additional funding.

This idiotic notion that FEMA funding went to migrants instead of Helene survivors is made up.

The agency has spent $690.9 million this year to “enable non-federal entities to off-set allowable costs incurred for services associated with noncitizen migrant arrivals in their communities,” according to FEMA’s fiscal year 2024 awards.

So? That didn't come from FEMA's disaster relief funds. Not a dime was diverted from funds available for Hurricane Helene survivors to cover noncitizen migrants

FEMA disaster money was illegally diverted to assist in the disaster of aiding illegal immigration

Seems to be a trick they learned from the Trump admin
