is only logical conclusion based on the shredding of their records.
Something is rotten at Fort Benning
Congressman Steve Russell (R, OK) contacted the Secretary of the Army on September 15, 2015, and requested the Ranger School records for the first two female graduates, Captain Kristen Griest and First Lieutenant Shaye Haver.

Russell, a Ranger School graduate, who served 21 years in the Army and earned a Bronze Star with Valor device, was elected to Congress in 2014. He led 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment during its deployment to Tikrit, Iraq.

The Secretary of the Army, John McHugh, stalled Russell for nine days and then asked for an extension to obtain documents readily available.

The Army waited another two weeks to tell Russell the documents had been shredded.

Shit happens, specially when the Congressman in question knows the policies and procedures for requesting such records and didn't follow them...... Oh well, maybe he can use the incident for political reasons......... :eusa_whistle:

:lmao:

So in response they shredded the documents?
Did they or is that's what's being "reported"? No letter in the article verifying what the Army supposedly told the Congresscritter.
Not saying the Congresscritter is wrong or lying, but being there's an obvious agenda (potentially on both sides) I want to see the evidence. Of course Congresscritters not lying would be a pleasant surprise.
