The family of Oregon occupation spokesman Robert "LaVoy" Finicum filed a wrongful death lawsuit in federal court against the United States, the FBI, Oregon State Police, the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, Oregon's governor and others on the second anniversary of his death.

The complaint claims Finicum was shot "assassination style'' by "one or more militarized officers of the Oregon State Police and/or FBI'' as he was trying to drive "across the county border'' to seek the protection of Grant County Sheriff Glenn Palmer on Jan. 26, 2016.

The suit likened it to what happened to a North Korean soldier who was shot while running across the border last November to South Korea, though he survived.

"Finicum was deliberately executed by a pre-planned government ambush, after he had exited his vehicle with his hands up,'' the complaint says.

It was the result of a brutally deliberate course of action willfully set in place and caused by a small selection of county, state and federal officials who are named as defendants in this lawsuit. These defendants were mentally predisposed and committed to using excessive lethal force, to solve a political dispute. The result has been both haunting and tragic

In announcing her ruling, Chief U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro chastised the federal government for what she characterized as a “reckless disregard to fulfill its constitutional duties.”

The ruling ends the federal government’s prosecution of Bundy, his sons Ryan and Ammon Bundy, and militia commander Ryan Payne on charges related to the April 12, 2014, standoff with agents of Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

Each faced more than a dozen charges for stopping a U.S. District Court ordered impoundment of Bundy’s cattle as payment for fines and fees, including conspiracy, assaulting and threatening federal officers, using firearms during crimes of violence, obstruction of justice and extortion for their actions that day. With Navarro’s ruling, Bundy and his sons cannot be charged again.

The news was met with cheers and applause from supporters as Bundy walked out of U.S. District Courthouse with his wife, Carol, a free man for the first time since he was arrested in February 2016 at the Portland International Airport in Oregon after his sons were arrested there.

He said some officers "bragged about roughing up Dave Bundy, grinding his face into the ground and Dave Bundy having little bits of gravel stuck in his face.'' Dave Bundy, one of Cliven Bundy's sons, was arrested April 6, 2014, while videotaping men he suspected were federal agents near his father's ranch.

On April 6, 2014 there were many Federal Agents from the BLM and other entities that we did not know in unmarked vehicles patrolling our roads and ranch on the Gold Butte Mountain. Dave Bundy, the son of Cliven Bundy decided he should take a video as evidence of the massive amount of armed agents who were escorting contract cowboys as they rustled their cattle. . Dave parked his car on the side of the county road along with some of his brothers and sisters who were also taking pictures but Dave was commanded to "stop" and "disperse". His sister was taking pictures of the snipers they could see on the ridge with guns pointed at them. Dave told the men that he had a first amendment right to take pictures and he was not illegally parked and had a right to be there. Dave was unarmed but all the agents that surrounded him were not. Dave was forced to the ground, had his face ground into the gravel by a big booted agent, cuffed and stuffed into the back of a truck. He was driven to the compound where he sat for hours after they paraded him around in front of other officers and employees like a captured trophy, then hauled off to Henderson, Nevada in a very small backseat in a police car, to the Detention Center there. Held in a cold cell all night then before actually being brought before a judge they handed him a sack lunch, took off his orange jumpsuit and released him in the streets with no ID, no phone, no money etc.

The officers took Dave's Ipad and it was never returned. They impounded his car until his wife came and claimed it eventually when they let her. The only truth we have was the photos from his sister and a body cam that one of the officers had during the incident we discovered years later in trial discovery. We learned that Camera's are our friends!

Sorry for just posting articles.................the actions of the Federal Government after driving off every family in the area via government bs ARE CRIMINAL..

The last few REFUSED TO QUIT.........and the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT targeted them for it to force them off the land that they had grazed cattle on for over a century.

They burned PRIVATE LAND.........lit fires and BURNED CATTLE..........attacked the land owners for just taking pictures.........and had orders to kill the protesters that is now coming out................

They should ALL BE IN JAIL for what they did........
