First Song you remember from childhood

Most of the songs from my early childhood I remember are Church songs and hymns. My mom did teach me how to sing "You are my Sunshine" when I was around 3 or 4. The earliest radio songs I remember was "Puff the Magic Dragon" and "There was a Crooked Man". The Beatles came out a couple years later and really changed my outlook on music.

My two oldest siblings are 10 and 12 years older then me. Simon & garfunkel and the Beatles played constantly, but to be honest, the first song I remember was

These boots were made for walking by Nancy Sinatra

Uhuh. And "Downtown"..."Downtown."

"Mairzy Doats" is a novelty song composed in 1943 by Milton Drake, Al Hoffman and Jerry Livingston. It was first played on radio station WOR, New York, by Al Trace and his Silly Symphonists. The song made the pop charts several times, with a version by the Merry Macs reaching No. 1 in March 1944.

At first glance the song's refrain, as written on the sheet music, seems meaningless:

Mairzy doats and dozy doats and liddle lamzy divey
A kiddley divey too, wooden shoe?

However, the lyrics of the bridge provide a clue:

If the words sound queer and funny to your ear, a little bit jumbled and jivey,
Sing "Mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy."

With this aid, the refrain is quite easily comprehended, and the ear will detect the hidden message of the final line: "A kid'll eat ivy too, wouldn't you?"

First song that comes to mind is one that Super Sugar Crisp had on the back of their box.
You could cut it out and play it on your record player

Heard this one at the first drive-in movie I remember. Made it through the first movie, slept through the second - do remember being carried in the house.

I was two or three.
