There was so much fraud in the 2012 election that preventing rigged elections in the midterms must be the primary concern for conservatives.
This year Democrats realize they must hang onto the Senate, or at least get a 50-50 split so the vice president can cast deciding votes.
Boehner granting amnesty to 20 million illegal aliens is the only chance Democrats have of retaking the House. No amnesty puts Democrats in the position of trying to stop the Republicans from winning a supermajority.
Should Democrats fail at one or both the damage to Socialism will go off the chart before the 2016 elections. So much so that winning congressional races will be much more important to them than winning the White House. That amounts to the only shift in election priorities since FDR made the presidency the most important election goal for Democrats
Frankly, I believe Democrats wrote off the presidency in 2016. Throwing good money after bad with a half-hearted attempt to win the female vote by running Hillary Clinton is the best they have. That wont work because hardcore Socialists are the only voters who want to give Barack Taqiyya a third term. Lets face it. Taqiyya and all of his clones cannot make so much failure digestible for another 4 years.
Hence, larceny has to play the major role in Democrat strategy because they are on the wrong side of every issue.
Note that Democrats are never punished for election fraud. In addition to blanket immunity they get the courts to rule for legalized fraud. Democrats block every attempt to insure that only eligible Americans vote. Every effort to implement voter identification is declared illegal under the pretext of not denying voters their Right to vote.
I do not dispute Ron Lipsman interesting take, but with the stakes so high for Democrats, I believe that fraud is the greater concern.

We have elected to the presidency a man with no executive or managerial experience, indeed with no significant accomplishments of any kind. This mans main mentors all his life were communists, race baiters, violent radicals and corrupt politicians. His style of governing manages to combine divisiveness, mean-spiritedness, lawlessness and manifest incompetence. He has made no secret of his intention to recreate the United States as an internationally weak, equality-obsessed, unexceptional, centrally managed, social welfare state. His main accomplishment has been to convert the health insurance industry into a public utility. And we re-elected him! What does that say about the political savvy of the people of the United States of America?
