Florida's new immigration law creates 'panic' in agriculture community

The ones hurt are those forced to work long hours with low pay and no OT. No benefits. No protections.
In our history, people come here and earn their stripes. The truth is the first generation has the harder time and they acclimate to the unique American culture. You could have typed that a century ago or even longer. Also, there are jobs that are lower paying or that many citizens will not do. The United States needs to optimize immigration. And we are woefully sloppy with a huge social welfare state that is growing. Living with comforts is what we all want.

I'm happy to optimize immigration. As long as they are covered by the rules and regulations everyone gets.

This dynamic existed for a long time in this country before highspanic migrants began doing the grunt work. People from other countries were brought here because the pittance they were provided was still an improvement over their homeland conditions. They were African slaves.
It would make more sense to improve the situation in the migrants’ homeland and bring them up but that would interfere with the globalists bringing the US down.

This needs to be the law in all 50 states.

  • - Tougher penalties for knowingly hiring or transporting undocumented people in the state
    - E-Verify employment screening for new hires at businesses with 25 or more employees
    - Florida hospitals will collect immigration status and the state will no longer recognize outside driver licenses for people who are undocumented

Costing more to live in racist Florida everyday

You mean they'll have to pay a living wage?
A good idea however with 10,000,000 jobs open and with around 3% unemployment rate, why would any American looking for work choose the hard breaking ones back labor job of picking fruit or veggies in the extremely hot, Florida heat instead of an office or air conditioned, store work or even labor in a shaded warehouse?

We are in an awkward position where even a living wage, may not be enough...

I don't understand though, why they don't request temporary visas for migrant workers to pick crops, legally?

Is it money savings somehow?

Scaring off the farm workers just hurts the farmers. It's the usual thing with any republican "solution" to illegal immigration. It's more important that someone gets hurt than the problem actually gets addressed.

I want a solution!! But ANY "solution" is always met with the same thing from you guys! You always fight any attempt, no matter what the effort is!

The problem is that the right will not accept any sort of humanitarian solution. Someone must be hurt. Doors must be kicked in. People have to be treated like garbage. Turns out most Americans are not sadistic assholes looking for a fascistic thrill.

White and black people haven't built a custom home in 40 years. It will be interesting to see what one looks like.
