From the memo written by one Russian commie to another Russian commie:

Kennedy thinks the benefits of a meeting with Y.V.Andropov will be enhanced if he could also invite one of the well known Republican senators, for example, Mark Hatfield. Such a meeting will have a strong impact on American and political circles in the USA (In March of 1982, Hatfield and Kennedy proposed a project to freeze the nuclear arsenals of the USA and USSR and published a book on the theme as well.)

I love this tu quoque fallacy shit. The rubes NEVER learn.

Kennedy colluded so it is okay Trump colluded!

LOL, show where ANYONE has said that, then look at what thread you're in. Got what a fool you are.

First Fox News was forced to retract a piece in which they falsely claimed that Seth Rich sent emails to WikiLeaks. Now they lie about Ted Kennedy having met the KGB in order to damage Ronald Reagan.

"Nothing will ever come close to Ted Kennedy meeting with the KGB in order to beat Ronald Reagan in 1984," Gutfeld said on his show July 15. "It was a quid pro quo. You help the Dems. We help the USSR. If it worked, we would still have the USSR."

Ted Kennedy and the KGB
Kengor: The episode is based on a document produced 25 years ago this week. I discussed it with you in our earlier interview back in November 2006. In my book, The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism, I presented a rather eye-opening May 14, 1983 KGB document on Ted Kennedy. The entire document, unedited, unabridged, is printed in the book, as well as all the documentation affirming its authenticity.
How to spot a sociopath - 10 red flags that could save you from being swept under the influence of a charismatic nut job
#5) Sociopaths seek to dominate others and "win" at all costs. They hate to lose any argument or fight and will viciously defend their web of lies, even to the point of logical absurdity.
#9) Sociopaths never apologize. They are never wrong. They never feel guilt. They can never apologize. Even if shown proof that they were wrong, they will refuse to apologize and instead go on the attack.
Liberals know that they have lost power and will continue to lose more power every election, because NORMAL US citizens have woken up to their lies. Now we are seeing the desperation the left has to try again to get back their power. In their weak attempt to change history it is back firing on them as what was one done comes out in the light.

Kennedy believes that in order to influence Americans it would be important to organize in August-September of this year, televised interviews with Y.V. Andropov in the USA.

So much for secretive!

You seek to mix apples and oranges, comrade, attempting to tie the Seth Rich - who Julian Assange insinuated was his leaker - to Kennedy. We can discuss Rich in another thread...

In regards to Fox New's Gutfield, who is no serious journalist (seems to consider himself more of a comedian...and he's not that funny), definitely 'overreached' on the Kennedy claim. He knows who pays his salary and make sure he keeps getting paid.

Politifact states, "There is certainly evidence that Kennedy attempted to meet with Soviet officials, but it was with the approval of the Reagan White House. The validity of a specific KGB memo saying Kennedy wanted to de-escalate tensions with Moscow over a U.S. plan to install nuclear missiles in Western Europe is widely questioned." (Not proven or disproven.)

Maybe there wasn't a meeting but it's obvious something was going on with Kennedy and the Soviets given the Chebrikov memos.

Hey that's called collusion!!!!!!!
Show the memos you talk about.

I don't have any memos, they were Chebrikov's memos. He was the head of the KGB and they came to light in a letter he wrote to Yuri Andropov dated May 14th 1983.

But it EXISTS. It came about by the Russians declassifying train loads of stuff under Gorby. The Forbes article refers back to a Brit paper that got the MEMO and translated it.

Let's find it and READ IT 1st hand. Because you don't get LEGIT dumps of formerly classified info that often out of Russia. Fuck P-Fart and Fox -- go to the source..

So you admit Kennedy did it but are trying to make the point that it was ok because he tried to get a Republican involved too. How intelligent you are.

Ted Kennedy got away with murder scot-free... what a piece of fucking shit.

Forty-five year old fake news story about a guy who has been dead for eight years. Fake Fox news on steroids.

Apparently the Fox News dumb shit does not know Kennedy didn't run in 1984.
didn't run in 1984.

and?

He wasn't running, so he wasn't allowed input into the election?

Nope. That would be the pay-back for helping his campaign. It's the REWARD, not the "crime"..

Catch up with the group..

So Reagan used Ted Kennedy as backchannel. No collusion, then. That was easy!

Uh oh, Politifact debunks the memo too. Today is not your day:

It's overblown and not directly analgous to what we know Team Trump did. Trump sought damaging info on Hillary, and in the end I think we'll find he got that help. The queston will be what he promised Putin in return.

Assuming the Kennedy story is true, the only thing Ted offered or wanted was a peaceful diaglogue about mutual disarmament. Although, that might have been politically beneficial. Ironically, Reagan turned the gop on it's head in offering mutual disarmament in the Iceland meeting.

Ted Kennedy's Soviet Gambit

And it never came about, even assuming there's some truth to the story ... which is not really verified by anyone in the Kennedy camp.

Why do you believe in widely questioned memos?

It was a genuine Russian KBG alleged memo from when the KGB actually existed. The KGB never lied during the Cold War.

Your initial smug remark is unwarranted. 'Widely questioned' is NOT the same as 'not true'.

We should follow the leader trump and give more trust to our Russian friends.
