Dominion is going for the cash I am sure. But they should, Fox intentionally lied to feed into their viewers alternate facts at the expense of Dominion.

Up till now, it has seemed that Dominion has not been as interested in the money as exposing Fox as a fraud.

Settlements usually involve no admission of guilt and non disclosure of the terms of settlement

Dominion's yearly revenue is about $40 million. After they won -- and they would have -- there's no way that a jury would have awarded them much more than that. Dominion asked for $1.6 billion, but they knew they had no chance of getting that much.

So, by accepting the $787.5 million, Dominion gets a lot more money than they would have gotten.

Why did FOX offer so much? Because FOX didn't have to admit they lied. With a couple more equally expensive defamation suits on their plate, FOX needed to avoid that. Plus, they needed to be able to tell their idiot viewers that they're really innocent victims, and <FOX rambles something about George Soros> they were the victims of an evil liberal plot.
