It's not a lie if it's true.
If one station in one town is charging nearly $8/gal then it won't be long before many or most of them are charging that much. (Who cares that gas was $1.50/gal in 2020 before the Democrats started their lock downs. They even started talking about adding another tax to gas prices so they could drive the price up 30-40 cents per gallon. Low gas prices are horrific to a Progressive)
The shortages haven't even started kicking in yet....and the price of oil has skyrocketed because Biden made sure we couldn't use our own oil. Never mind the fact that the value of the dollar is sinking faster than his poll numbers.

Democrat's goal is to intentionally drive the price of gas to over $10/gal by next Summer.....and then hopefully they can wean us off of fossil-fuels.

Problem is....we have no other alternatives available in the near future.....but that's not their problem because most of them won't be driving their own vehicles. They'll be riding in limos provided by the taxpayer.

The purpose of all of this is to shock the economy so deeply that we have to resort to socialism....which is the complete takeover of all private property by government. That's the end-game.

I realize that Synthaholic is a special needs poster, but I can guarantee all the rest of you that Big Sur is, indeed, still in California. In fact, a great aunt of mine once owned a cabin in the nearby Palo Colorado canyon and which still exists.

There is no excuse for prices in CA being that high, except for high taxation and simple price gouging.
