There is a ton of talk about free speech and what it is. Take a look at the 1st amendment here a sec,

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Okay, so reading that I can see some wisdom in how them dudes in the NFL can say what they do about heir kneeling, but I'm not seeing how the first covers ANTIFA rich kids burning shit. Also, there are no protections from the consequences of our free speech. Everyone has heard the thing about yelling fire in a movie house. In the same reguards, these football guys will soon find them selves in he same position as Mr. Keapernik wondering why they can't get a team. Same for all these rich kids in ANTIFA who have pretty bad criminal records now. You can say what you want, where you want, just don't cry when it's time to pay the piper.

Maybe we can get over ourselves, just back off, let people express themselves, and live & let live.

If someone causes damage beyond just "offending" someone, sure, fine. They shouldn't be able to cause direct damage, such as incitement.

Outside of that, the beauty of freedom of expression is that it points out the crazies, loud and clear. Who cares.

Maybe we can just let shit go now and then. No safe spaces, no intimidation, no violence, no "consequences".

Just let it go. Enough already.
