Yes, but $21 Billion dollars backed by him and Tesla shares and he already outright owned 9.17% of outstanding stock. He is in firm control of the asset. At this point in time, there really is no predictable clue as to what he intends to do with it or why he really wanted control of it. We only really know, he thought it worth devotion of his time, effort and risk of what normal people would consider huge dollar amounts of his assets to get.
